Author's Pov:
The cold winds blowing symbolising a winter morning. Even the sun had hidden itself under the clouds, just like Samaira who hid herself in her arms. Her torn multicoloured lehenga has loosed it's shine just like her eyes. The fact that she was abducted on her wedding night haunts her to the core.
"I never thought I'd feel so alone. Every moment was and is a torture for me, I wonder if I'd ever see you again Arsh. They kept me in darkness, both literally and figuratively. I didn't know if I'd survive" Samaira said to herself while holding her nuptial chain in her hand. Tears were rolling down her cheeks continuously.
She heard few faded footsteps which was getting clear as the person gets closer to her room. She knew it was the who kidnapped her, the psycho Ryan.
"You're even more beautiful up close, Samaira. It's a shame you had to be taken away from that pathetic excuse for a husband." Ryan came close to her and traced his index finger on her face.
"Stay away from me Ryan? What do you want now?" Samaira said pushing him away.
"Why you always push me away baby. I'm the one who truly understands you. I love you in a way he never could." Ryan said and Samaira looked at him in disgust.
"Love? You call this love? Kidnapping someone is not love, it's sick." Samaira shouted back at him.
"I did it to protect you from a life of mediocrity. With me, you could have everything you desire." Ryan yelled.
"You just lust over me Ryan, like you always did, in college too." Samaira whispered, unable to hold back her tears.
"You'll learn to appreciate what I've done for you, Samaira. In time, you'll see that I'm the only one who truly cares." Ryan said and left the room, locking the door and Samaira's life within.
"You are a psycho Ryan." Samaira cried.

"You were supposed to be my forever. Our wedding day turned into a nightmare without you. Why were you taken from me?" Utkarsh fell on the ground not trusting the strength of his knees.
The whole Kaushik and Agarwal family was crying for their princess Samaira. The room was a mess and all the guests have returned back to their respective houses.
"I miss Samaira so much. She means the world to me. I can't believe she's gone. It feels like a part of me is missing." Pratyusha came to Utkarsh and sat down beside him.
"I know it is hard Pratya but we'll get through this together. She wouldn't want us to be consumed by sadness, right? I will try my best to find her and I'm sure we will get her back. But we have to stay strong for our families." Utkarsh hugged her and tried to calm her down.
"I am trying jiju. It's just so hard to accept she's gone." Pratyusha said hugging him back.
"Aunty, uncle don't worry I'll find your daughter at any cost. I'll do everything I can to find her." Utkarsh said determined to gis in-laws.
"We trust you beta." Mrs Kaushik kissed Utkarsh's forehead.
Utkarsh left the place and picked his phone to call the ACP Ishika Rathore.
"Ma'am my wife Samaira has been kidnapped. I need your help to find her. I need her back at any cost." Utkarsh told her as she picked the call on the third ring.
"We'll do everything we can Utkarsh. Can you provide any information that might help us in our investigation?" Ishika said on the other side of call.
Utkarsh told her everything that happened.
"Rest assured, we'll initiate the investigation immediately. I will personally inform you if we get any information regarding her." Ishika replied.
"Can I come along?" Utkarsh asked.
"No Utkarsh, your safety and Samaira's are our top priorities. Let us handle this. We'll set up a plan to ensure a safe resolution. Please share all the details if you get any or if the kidnapper calls you." Ishika assured him.
"I just want my wife back safely, Officer. Whatever it takes." Utkarsh said and Ishika hung up after assuring him that they would find Samaira.
