"What about him?" I asked the Irish boy, now curious as to what he had to say. Niall walked to the cabinets and pulled out several glasses for us.

"The two of you," He throws a thumb over his shoulder pointing in the living room where Liam sits laughing with everyone else, "Are getting quite close. Why is that?"

"We're just friends and it's going to stay that way. I know what you're thinking and Rachae already tried to poke into my thoughts too." I say as I pour the bubbly liquid into the glasses. Niall hums in thought while his hand rubs along his chin.

"Both you and Liam said the same thing. I know something's up between you two. Can't hide it from me forever." He gave me a suspicious look and grabbed half the glasses, taking them out to the boys. Liam said the same thing? Niall asked Liam about me? But, then that means that there really isn't anything between us and frankly I believe that there never will be. Falling out of my thoughts I hand the boys the remaining glasses. I return to my original spot next to Liam and we continue our conversation. As the night goes on, I notice Liam checking his phone more often.

"Hey, whatcha doing?" Crawling closer to him, I peeked over his shoulder.

"Oh, nothing really." He mumbled and slipped his phone into his pocket. Of course me knowing him quite well I could tell something was up.

"Yeah? You sure?" I questioned as I tried to poke his sides to which he just gave me a straight face.

"Nice try, but I'm not ticklish." Liam tries to hide a smile but I know better so instead, I push him over. We're just sitting on the ground so he doesn't go far but then a chorus of gasps clouded the room and I looked up to see the boys looking at me with wild eyes. Liam sits up again and I get up, ready to run. He jumps up and so do the boys as they somehow seem to telepathically communicate and block the doors. Rachae just lays on the couch laughing at everything. I scream when Liam jumps but I manage to barely escape his wrath. Laughing, we dart around the room in a game of chase. But with him being faster than me, I'm easily caught in his arms and dragged to the ground falling on top of him. I squirm and fall out of his grasp once more when all the boys bombard me with tickles and that was how I died, ladies and gentlemen.

Okay, not really but i swear I could see the light! When the boys finally stopped, all of us laid sprawled out on the carpeted floor, I being next to Liam.

"Well, that was something." Louis commented, pulling himself up from the floor.

"But I definitely think it's time to get some shut eye." He yawned as he grabbed a blanket from the pile by the door.

"I call couch!" Harry screamed, running to the couch and plopping down on it whilst Louis gave him a glare muttering as he made a spot on the floor. We all followed suit, the boys finding a spot on the floor and Rachae heading off to her room. Closing the door to my room, I get into bed ready for a good night's sleep. But of course, somebody goes knocking on my door.

"Rhi, you got a second?" I heard Liam mutter slipping into the room, quietly closing the door and sitting down next to me on the bed.

"Just layed down, so you're good." I sat up to face him. I noticed that he fumbled with his fingers and I knew something was up.

"Liam, something wrong?" He looked back up to me at the sound of my voice. Liam sighed, pulling out his phone and setting it in front of him.

"There's this girl that I met on tour and she keeps texting me wanting to set up something when I go back on tour. She's like a sound check's daughter or something, but I just don't have the guts to turn her down." He picked up his phone again and played with it. This is what's bothering him so much? You'd think that something like that wouldn't faze him that much being famous and all but, Liam is Liam and he's a softie.

"Hey, don't fret about that. If you're not interested then just tell her that you don't have time for a relationship right now. Yeah?" Nudging his shoulder, I pulled the covers up and over the both of us as he had now moved to laying on his side next to me.

"You think that won't be too offensive or hurtful?" His little face pouted at me and I couldn't help but giggle and hit his arm.

"That's anything but offensive, Liam. Don't take things like that to heart. Now, anything else on your mind while we're at it?" Snuggling into the blankets I thought that this might be the right time to see what all really is on his mind. It took him a minute to think.

"Yeah, uh, do you think I'd have time for a relationship with how my schedule is?" This question sort of caught me off guard but I proceeded to answer him.

"Well," A couple seconds of silence fell as I tried to sum up my words. But at that, it made me wonder if he actually had a liking to this girl that keeps texting him.

"I think that if you'd keep the relationship strong, then it could fit in with your lifestyle." I didn't want to give out too much advice because if he actually did like this girl then I don't know if I'd be heartbroken or not.

"Thanks Rhi. I just don't know because I'd always be gone and sometimes that can drive the other to wanting attention from someone else. I don't know if I, " He paused in the middle of his sentence but after a nod from me, he continued on.

"If that would ruin her and I's relationship on the tour. We're pretty good friends and all, but I don't want things to go downhill." He mumbled the last sentence and I think I felt a ping of jealousy arouse from the depths of despair. So he does like this girl but he just doesn't want to ruin their relationship?

"Do you like her?" I questioned ever so quietly and I begged to whoever could hear my silent cries that he'd say no. But much to my avail, he said yes. And you know what hurt the most? Is that he didn't hesitate or stutter. I knew that I had to say something because I couldn't just leave him hanging but I knew I felt a piece of my heart break into a million tiny pieces.

"If you really like her, then go for it. There's nothing that should be stopping you." I muttered but surprisingly he had heard me. Maybe if he is attached to someone then I could actually get over him. Maybe if my heart sees that he isn't interested, then I can finally move on.

"You think so?" He raised an eyebrow but I saw something different in his eyes that I could not decipher.

"Yeah." I yawned and Liam chuckled at that.

"It's getting pretty late. I should get going. Thank you for the advice, Rhi. I know you'll always be there for me." He smiled getting ready to pull himself off the bed when I reached out and grabbed onto his arm.

"Will you sleep with me tonight? I haven't seen you in forever and I don't want to wake up and it be a dream." I whispered in hopes that he wouldn't laugh or anything. Liam only smiled, nodding his head as he got comfortable once more. We whispered our good nights and turned opposite directions but stayed fairly close.

One thing flooded my mind as I tried to drift to sleep. I guess this night will be the only night that I have some faith to hold onto.
