The sounds of soldiers conversing as they made their way through the halls of HQ had snapped Erwin out of his trance. With wide eyes the man hesitantly let go of the girl, a small frown forming over Ripley's lips as Erwin's warmth disappeared.
"I—I apologize I don't know what I was.." Erwin trailed off, his eyes still locked onto Ripley as she looked to the ground, her face a crimson color.
"It's okay, you don't have to apologize." She responded softly, playing with her fingers. Why was she disappointed? She wanted to feel that warmth again, the hold on her waist, the beating of someone else's heart. Was she growing something for Erwin? Was she just too touch starved that any attention she got she liked? I mean, her body did react the same was with Levi when his hands were her, maybe it was just her. Only time could tell for now. She couldn't figure it out and by the time she looked back up, The Commander had disappeared. She let out a small huff in slight disappointment, the feeling of his thumb still lingering against her chin. She looked down to herself, eyes widened as she realized the messy, unprofessional state she was in.
