"It was nice to meet you, Midoriya" Katsuki says as he's grinning and bearing this situation, because of course this isn't how he would normally act.
Izuku stares while trying not to laugh because he knows how Katsuki works. He can tell he's holding back the most out of pocket insult ever. "It was nice to meet you too... and don't worry, you can call me Deku," Izuku honestly smiles. Been a while since I was happy...
That Deku person... Katsuki thinks to himself. I'm... drawn to him... He continues as he walks back to the kitchen to help the other chefs.
When it was time for Izuku to leave he had completed the outline perfectly of prince Todoroki.
"It's looking good so far, keep it up" Todoroki compliments and walks off to his bed to rest after hours of staying still.
"Will do" Izuku nods "have a good day, your majesty" he continues before bowing and making his way to the exit. Gods I can finally move- ah wait- I am a God haha, good one Izu.
"Okay I really have to stop talking to myself like that" Izuku talks to himself like that and makes his way out the castle from which he came.
"You" a familiar voice says from behind him. Izuku turns to see Katsuki there. "Just want to say your hair looks like a mauled piece of lettuce" Izuku has gotten many in insults about his hair but that one, that was a first.
"Why thank you?" Izuku answers, slightly impressed.
"I also wanted to ask... you're an artist of many forms, right?"
"Well yes" Izuku waits for Katsuki to continue on, resting his posture and tilting his head in curiosity.
"Then you're gonna teach me how to be a painter. My parents will send you all the money necessary" this statement makes izuku cock up an eyebrow.
"What makes you think I'm gonna let you in if you ask like that?" He asks as Katsuki looks at him in confusion
"If you don't, you'll have problems with the aristocrats of this Kingdom." Fuck royalty, God- me- life dammit
"Alright then, I'm not letting you in cause you threatened me with your status, only cause you... you have something I want" Izuku accepts Katsukis request.
"And that is?" Katsuki wonders.
Izuku is quiet for a moment, making his reply more mysterious than it has to be "you'll figure that out in due time" he says before continuing his walk to the front gates. "Be at my shop at six am sharp. Is that clear?"
"Crystal" he answers and walks back to the kitchen when his buddies come up to him.
"Dude you can't tell me you're switching jobs, you're a fire cook!" A boy with black spiked hair complains.
"I know that shitty hair but as I told you, I need to know what it is about him that's so... Ugh!" Katsuki raises his hands up in frustration and confusion. Some part of me is so happy it hurts to see him... But I don't know him!!
"I wonder how he is a master at so many things, it's definitely more than Anyone can do in a lifetime so just how?" A dark skinned girl and horns? holding a platter of dirty dishes mentions.
"I don't know anything but me becoming his apprentice will answer all my questions... hopefully..." Katsuki says as he looks towards the direction of the gates that Izuku is far from already.
Izuku walks with a smile back to his shop, but once he enters it, that smile drops. As he stands there, he's faced with his paintbrushes sprawled all over the floor, his clay wheel toppled over, along with his easel. Hundreds of papers are spread out mixed with the brushes. And there's plenty more mess all around the place.
"What... The... Fuck" Izuku says to himself under his breath. He's silent for a while before his eyes widen. "Katsuki..." he rushes to the basement
The door to his "storage" room is perfectly intact, but he's got a strange feeling. "The magic should've held up..." he notes while he opens the door to rubble everywhere. All the statues he had made of Katsuki were turned to mini rocks or dust. He looks straight ahead to see that his Katsuki, the original, is still standing. All the ruble surrounds him.
"At least he's alright... and plus... I have more at home..." he walks up to the only standing statue of Katsuki and takes both of his hands to hold his face gently with a smile. "My baby" slips from his lips before they're against the stone's lips.Drip...
Drip...
"Huh..?" Izuku looks around the room "is there a leak...?" He questions before he sees a red substance fall from the ceiling. He slowly lifts his head up to see something encrypted by blood in the language of the gods.
"Your lover was destroyed but now it's your turn, Tsukuyomi" *
Izuku takes a deep breath reading the message.
"I... I need to get out of here- but-" he says looking back at Katsuki
...
"But I can't leave you..." Izuku continues, putting his forehead to the statue's. Izuku stands there thinking long and hard, contemplating on what he should do. Because now he has Katsuki here and back at the castle.
Oh what should I do...* Tsukuyomi: the Japanese moon God
