The Lost Four

Reality

Looking at the sleeping beauty in the passenger seat, I have to move fast. This is not good, they already found her it isn't safe for her to be here anymore. I have to move fast if we want to get out untouched. Calling Rico, my second in command, he picks up on the second ring. "Sup Alpha", ignoring his informal greeting I have to get to the point. "Rico, it's time to get the pack ready", I say quickly. "You mean you found Luna", his voice lightens up. "Yes, but they already found her we need to move quickly", checking my surroundings and driving to my hotel. "On it, I'll call you when everything is ready", his voice shifting because of the urgency of the situation.

"Thanks, Rico", hanging up I pull into the parking lot and look over at my princess sleeping.

I should feel guilty but the truth is I don't. This is to keep her safe and I'd do anything to ensure that. Taking her out of the car gently I quickly make it into my hotel room. Luckily no one saw me or else it would look really bad. Laying her on the bed I walk into the next room to make some phone calls. Rico calls back and I pick up. "Everything good to go Rico" Knowing my answer, my pack members worked efficiently. "Everything is good, you just need to give the go-ahead for the pack members to retract from the town and inform her parents", satisfied I take a deep breath.

"Thanks, Rico, tell everyone to head back, I'll be there in the morning" giving my command. "Alright boss see you and Luna tomorrow", a small smile plays upon my lips as he calls her Luna. "See you Rico", hanging up I go to check on Cyerene. Seeing her still fast asleep, I head for the door. She won't be waking up anytime soon she hasn't gotten her wolf yet.

Driving to her parent's house, I knocked on their door and waited politely. A tall man opens the door looking confused. "Can I help you", polite but still hostile which is understandable. "It's about your daughter, Cyerene" her dad looking concerned his wife joins him. "I understand that we're meeting like this but it's urgent, may I?", hoping they come out of their state of shock. "Come in", the woman finally speaks. "I know that you have adopted your daughter, " I say curtly not waiting for their reaction.

"I also know about your knowledge about the supernatural and to adopt her you were given a contract by which swore secrecy about our existence", looking at all of the family photos, I look at Cyerene. "What is your point, we have done nothing wrong," her dad says. "We can't even if we wanted to the contract assures that," her mother says. "I know, it's nothing you did wrong, but you're daughter is in danger", turning to them they look shocked, so I continue. "She's still 17 but her birthday is in a week, she will gain her abilities by then, your daughter is special. Enough to where people are going to come after her". Her mother starts to cry as her father consoles her.

"Where is my daughter" he voice filled with venom. "She's safe, I am not going to cause any harm to her but she needs to come with me if you want her to be safe" I explain. "How do we know if we can trust you", her mother says. "I am her mate" is all I say. Her mother gasps as her father's face softens. "I understand, when will you two be leaving" waiting for my answer. Sometime tomorrow morning, I'm sorry about this short notice but she will be protected and you will see her again", I head towards the door. "I will have someone come and inform you two in person about all the details with a contract that bound you to secrecy about this" Not waiting for their response I go to my car and get in.

Taking one final look at her parents in the door, guilt starts to kick in. It's not fair to them but it needs to be done. Sending a quick text to Rico about how to handle her parents, I pull off going back to my hotel room where my princess is waiting for me.

Cyeren's P.O.V:Waking up, I jolt up taking in my surroundings. "This cannot be happening", I whisper to myself. Getting I head out of the bedroom I'm in. I hear the door beep and the door opens. Xandri walks in looking at me. "Hi princess" he calmly walks over to me as I back up. "Do not call me princess" Walking around the island I go for the knife set on the counter. I pull out the biggest one and hold it in front of me. "Cyerene, I'm not going to hurt you" a hint of amusement in his voice.
