It was beginning to become late and everyone was finishing up their chores. The air became cool and Ao'nung thought maybe it was a good time to go and pick out some fruits for tomorrow morning. It became a bit of a habit to restock on food or materials he needed when it gotten late and he was in his own peace.

So, after saying a couple of 'good nights' to other passing Metkayinans, he started to walk towards the groves where many fruits grew during the season. He hummed to himself as he jumped off the woven bridges and trotted down to the grove.

He felt himself grin a little as he neared the groves. When he got there, he pulled a few vines out the way, and when he stepped foot onto the mossy pathway, he pulled back a branch to reveal the front row of fruits hanging on the leaves. Happily, he walked over to the middle branch. With both hands, he reached up and grabbed some sapodilla fruits.

He grabbed two for now, and he was going towards the back to grab some black sapote for tomorrow morning. As he was nearing the back trees, he heard some noises. He froze in place just in case he heard it again. Not even a second later, the noises sounded again, and it caught Ao'nung's attention. Now, he knew he wasn't going crazy.

Silently, and carefully as he could, he began to take slow steps towards the further end of the trees. The noises grew louder and Ao'nung was more curious as to who could be making loud noises so late in the night. With his free hand, he pulled back a branch; gasping out as he saw two people sitting on the mossy ground.

Ao'nung felt his gut telling him to turn back around and mind his business because this didn't involve him, but he couldn't; as curiosity was killing him. Ignoring his gut, he drew closer as he squinted his eyes to see better. He crept closer, as the noises sounded even more.

Taking a deep breath, he pulled the branch out of his way and stepped onto the mossy floor. As he stood in front of the two Navi's, something immediately caught his eye. Being touchy with each other, he could see that on top was a Metkayina..weirdly. And as he averted his eyes, his eyes widened as he saw a dark blue Navi, holding the Metkayina.

But, as he kept observing the two, he tilted his head to see the people better. He widened his eyes a bit to see that it was none other than a female Metkayina. Looking at the darker Navi, he saw they had their hair out in braids, so he was hoping it was either Neteyam, because that's the only person he knew had long braids out most times.

It couldn't be Lo'ak because they already said goodbye and kissed each other goodnight..so he still wouldn't be out this late..right? Ao'nung felt his heart begin to beat fast in anxiousness. He took some inwards breaths to calm down as he shouldn't be so quick to assume. "Hello?" He hesitantly called out, clutching the fruits he held.
