Hello everyone! I have had the worst case of writer's block and for some reason writing this chapter seemed almost impossible, but thankfully it is finally done! I hope you enjoy it! Don't forget to comment and vote if you are enjoying this story, it means the world to hear from you!

The rest of the summer flew by and before I knew it, I was off on the Hogwarts Express gearing up to start a brand new school year.

Edwin and I of course shared a compartment on the train. We caught up after he spent the last two weeks before school with his parents on holiday in France. He talked about his trip and all of the interesting places they explored, I told him of my time with Millie and my grandfather, and everything that happened the evening of the gala...minus several details, just to spare him the trauma.

***The Feast***

We arrived at the feast together after changing into our robes. Sitting down at the Gryffindor table beside Fred and George Weasley who were a year ahead of us and tucked into the vast array of food that welcomed us back to our home away from home.

As I ate, I allowed myself to glance at the head table, where Severus sat beside McGonagall and that is when my heart sank. On his right side, in an obnoxiously pink ensemble sat Deloras Umbridge, the undersecretary for Minister Fudge. She was a tiny, plump, and very cheerfully cruel woman who enjoyed throwing the book at witches and wizards who dared to oppose anything the minister ordered. My grandfather had told me stories of her and her complete dedication to both the ministry and the minister himself, she would kill for him if he asked her. Which my grandfather not so affectionately referred to as blind obsession.

I nudged Edwin and gestured towards the table. "Is that who I think it is?" He asked, taking a bite of roasted chicken.

"I wonder why she is here and not playing puppy dog to the minister." I sneered

Edwin shrugged in response just as Dumbledore stood and made his way to his podium to make his welcome speech to bring in the school year. He began of course with a greeting and telling us that Hagrid was taking some time away and we would have a substitute in the meantime. Then, he introduced her and the new defense against the dark arts teacher, everyone gave a weak clap and Dumbledore opened his mouth to move on but Umbridge stood, and began a speech of her own. We were all in relative shock that she would even consider interrupting the headmaster, but apparently, she was already making her own rules.

Edwin and I sat through her entire speech and just gaped at each other once she was finished and sat back down beside a stunned Severus. Thankfully Dumbledore dismissed us to bed before we all could react to the weird speech Umbridge had made.

I decided to make a pit stop by the potions classroom before I went to the common room for the rest of the evening. I knew Severus wouldn't be in the classroom yet, so it gave me time to plop myself onto his desktop and wait for the door to open.

After a few minutes of waiting, it finally did and my bat walked through the door and into the dark room. He smiled when he saw me and opened his arms. I sprung from my position on his desk and ran to hug him, placing a slow kiss on his lips.

He backed me up towards his desk, never breaking our kiss as he lifted me up and placed me on the cool wooden surface. His hands trailed up and down my body, until he got sick of the robes being in his way and he broke the kiss, his fingers expertly undoing the clasp that kept my robe on and it fell to the side.

"I need you." He breathed against my lips as he attacked my mouth with his, our kisses becoming sloppy and hurried as the need to feel one another grew stronger. My hands fumbled hurriedly to rid him of the thick black wool that covered his body until he placed his hands on mine and mumbled "Not here." into my panting mouth.
