After the airport incident, Karan decided it was time to take the next step in his relationship with Pia. He wanted to meet her mother, Vidya, and seek her approval. Karan knew that Vidya's opinion held great significance for Pia, and he wanted to ensure that he had her blessings.

Arrangements were made for dinner at a cozy restaurant, where Karan arrived promptly, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. As Vidya walked into the restaurant, her warm smile put him at ease. She had a graceful presence, exuding a sense of kindness and wisdom.

They exchanged pleasantries and settled into their seats, the atmosphere filled with anticipation. Vidya listened attentively, observing Karan's sincerity. "Karan, I appreciate your honesty and genuine feelings towards Pia. But as a mother, it is my duty to protect my daughter. Tell me, what do you envision for your future with Pia?"

Karan took a moment to gather his thoughts before responding to Vidya's question. "Vidya aunty, I envision a future filled with love, respect, and support for Pia. I want to be there for her through thick and thin, to encourage her dreams, and to be her rock when she needs it. I am committed to building a strong and lasting relationship with her, where we can grow together as individuals and as a couple."

Vidya smiled warmly, appreciating Karan's heartfelt response. "Karan, your words give me hope for Pia's happiness. I can see the love you have for her, and it gives me comfort knowing that she may have found someone who truly cares for her. You have my approval."

Relieved and grateful, Karan expressed his gratitude to Vidya. "Thank you, Vidya aunty. Your approval means the world to me. I promise to always cherish and protect Pia with all my heart."

As their dinner continued, Karan and Vidya engaged in meaningful conversation, learning more about each other. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and warmth, creating a bond between them that Karan hoped would grow stronger over time.

However, despite Vidya'sapproval, Karan knew that he had to address the issue of Dev's approval as well. He understood that Dev's opinion held significant weight in Pia's life, and he wanted to ensure that their relationship had his blessing too.

A few days later, Karan gathered the courage to have a conversation with Dev. He called him up and asked if they could meet in person to discuss something important. Dev agreed, and they decided to meet at a nearby café the following evening.

Dev listened intently, his initial skepticism beginning to soften as he saw the sincerity in Karan's eyes. He had always been a father like figure to Pia,his nature been protective of Pia, but he also trusted her judgment.
Seeing Karan's genuine concern for her well-being, Dev started to believe that maybe he was the right person for her after all.

"I appreciate your honesty, Karan," Dev replied, his tone less guarded. "Pia means the world to me, and I only want what's best for her. I've seen how she lights up when she's with you, and it's clear that you make her happy. But I need you to understand that if you ever hurt her, I won't hesitate to step in and protect her."

Karan nodded, understanding the gravity of Dev's words. "I completely understand, bhaiya. I would never do anything to hurt Pia. I promise to always treat her with love, respect, and kindness. I want to build a strong foundation of trust and support in our relationship, not just with Pia but also with her family."

Dev studied Karan for a moment, assessing his sincerity. After a brief pause, a smile crept onto his face. "Alright, Karan. I believe you. You have my approval, but remember, you're not just gaining a girlfriend, you're gaining a brother too. I would like to meet your family members ".

Karan was silent for a while. He replied after a brief pause and said "My parents passed away when I was just 3. I have only an elder sister and a Maasi as family. If you have no issues,we can meet the
m next month".

"Ohh I am so sorry for you. Don't worry we can meet them whenever you are free " replied Dev after paying at the cafe.
