Chapter 1 : She's Alive

Chapter 1

Felicity's POV

"I swear! I-i saw her! S-she was there!" I tried to convince them of what i  have seen, my mind cannot process well but i know what i saw, i know that it's true, i saw her, i saw Zaki there, she's talking to other people, she's smiling, she's fine, she's alive

And those beautiful orbs of her speak for herself, she looks happy and doing really well. My chest tightened for the sudden hope i felt, the hope that she can be alive after all those years... there's a chance that i can be with her again... but this time, it's gonna be different.

I felt a blaze of fire inside my chest.

"Please believe me... believe me" i almost whispered, i grasped Carmela's hand holding it tightly while my eyes looked at her begging her to believe me

"Carmela... I swear, i-i know what i saw, i couldn't be mistaken i couldn't be wrong" tears dripping down on my cheeks, i feel the pressure of thoughts burdening me, i started to feel heavy and awful.

Carmela looked at Arcane who was just looking at me while thinking and she looked back at her. They stood there looking at each other's eyes like they were talking telepathetically.

They looked worried and of course they did not believe me.

Napahilamos ako sa aking mga palad at duon ibinuhos ang iyak ko.

"Felicity, don't you think it's... Your imagination again?" Nag-aalangang tanong ni Arcane, i shook my head disagreeing about her thought

"B-but... But they're gone, wala na, m-magaling na ako! I saw her... I-i... I--"

"I'm sorry Felicity" Carms said

My shoulders fell as she said those words, it crushed me like a water droplet of thick rain on the pavement, It just sunk into my head.

I almost believed my illusion, I thought it was true again.

I thought she was alive, i ended up being disappointed after falling into my illusions.

I can't help but sob and cry.

I just missed her so much and i wanna see her so badly.

I wish you were alive

I felt a warm embrace from my friends as they gathered and hugged me

We're here at my room, they took me here after i had a breakdown on the parking lot of the palace, Sevianne said i should go home and rest, she said she's sorry that she cannot be a company for me.

I told her it's fine but she insisted on sending me home with a couple of guards behind me and my friends. I told her sorry for ruining their night but she said that i never did.

"It's fine, Felicity, you just need a rest okay?" Carmela said before she tucked me to bed and put me to sleep.

My other friends went out already while Carmela stayed for a while, she's the most caring among my friends, she's the one who's taking care of me.

She just sat silently next to me.

I pretended to be asleep para umalis na siya.

And it worked, she left me after that, naramdaman ko ang pag galaw ng kama nang tumayo siya, i also heard the door closed, after five minutes, i saw their cars leaving from the window. I heaved a sigh as i looked at the ceiling.

I sat down on the edge of my bed looking down on myself, i'm so pathetic... I looked up in the ceiling closing my eyes regretting all the mistakes that i did that messed my whole life.
