Chapter 6 : Ready to Remember?

Zaki's POV

"Who are you?" I asked the girl who stood behind me earlier. I stared at her for a few seconds and studied her features, this girl is somehow familiar to me and i feel like i've known her. I feel like i saw that face before.

I got a hint of pain flashed in her eyes while looking at me, napalunok ako nang napansin ko ang mga matang iyon, it looks so helpless, i can see longing and eagerness written all over it. I bit my lower lip when her eyes started to cry, she painfully chuckled and wiped it.

Napa-iling ako at napa iwas ng tingin nang makaramdam ako ng lungkot bigla, totoo nga, kilala ko ito dati, nasasaktan ako ngayun eh. I looked down and tried to avoid her gaze but i'll eventually fall into it.

"How ironic, you forgot about me again, for the Second Time Zaki..." I swallowed really hard, she stood there wearing a black hoodie and crying, i felt guilty, but what can i do? I can't remember anything, I can't recall anything and if i do, it's mostly bad things...

"I-i'm sorry" i mumbled

Worries were drawn on my face as I saw her reaction to what i mumbled, mas lalo pa itong naiyak pero panay lang ang pilit sa pagpahid niya rito. "Miss..." I tried touching her hand that continuely wipe her face in, i was a bit worried because she might be hurting herself while rubbing her palms on her skin.

"Please calm down" i asked her softly and carefully not to make her cry even more, her eyes met mine while i held her hand gently, carefully lifting it up and removing it from her face.

Unlike earlier, she finally let her tears fall.

My forehead knotted because the scene seems to be cutting me deeper than it should've be in this kind of situation. If this is a stranger... I should just feel empathy or sympathy, yet knowing my situation, i feel guilty.

"Saan k-ka ba n-nanggaling..." In the cracking voice she asked, i bit my lower lip as i kept my silence, I felt so speechless and i couldn't think of any words to say.

Staring at her couldn't help with anything, the longer i stare the heavier my chest gets.

"A-antagal mong nawala..."

Her head fell on my chest as she cried like a little baby, she gripped my shoulders tightly trying to gain strength from it, she sobbed and sniffed herself out. "Zaki... It's me..."

"Your, Natnat"

"Natnat?"

"I-i'm sorry, but..."

"I don't know you"

After i said that mas lali pa siyang naiyak, i just stood there embracing a stranger but doesn't really feel like a stranger crying hard in my arms. "Nat" out of nowhere someone spoke, both of us took a glance there and we found a woman standing there, when our eyes met, she froze to where she is standing.

I know her... I've seen her before...

I was busy trying to remember where i've seen her when she suddenly bowed to me.

"Lady Z-zalleilia"

The girl pulled away from me and went to the lady.

"You know me?" I asked.

"Samantha Reyes, My Lady..."

I looked at her from head to toe, right, i've seen her on the mansion before, even at the palace, she must be part of the organization. I took my car keys from my pocket and threw it to her. She responded real quick and caught the key using her hand.

An agent huh?

"I see"

The lady who's name is Samantha and the girl took their leave, as soon as they left me i sighed, i took my time to breath before entering the elevator.  Silence is all i can hear, i felt a sudden... I don't know... I feel light yet it's heavy i can't explain it, it's so hard to understand
