As Jimin walked out of the hospital towards his car, the harsh sound of shouting caught his attention. A couple was between an heated argument, their voices were rising with every word, and it looked like it was on the brink of turning physical. Without hesitation, Jimin rushed over to stop them.
Jimin: (stepping between them, voice firm) "Hey! Please, calm down. Whatever's going on, this isn't the way to handle it."
The couple turned to him, surprised by his sudden appearance. The man's face was flushed with anger, his fists clenched, while the woman looked equally angry.
Man: (snapping) "This is none of your business. Stay out of it."
Jimin: (firm) "I understand you're upset, but things are getting out of hand. Please don't let this turn into something you'll regret."
Woman: (frustration) "He just won't listen! He keeps—"
Man: (cutting her off, voice rising) "Don't you dare! You're the one who started this!"
The woman glanced at Jimin pleading for help.
Woman: (voice trembling with frustration) "He's been harassing me for weeks, and I've had enough!"
Man: (raising his hand to slap her) "Don't make me villain here! You brought this on yourself!"
Jimin: (holding that man's hand) "Hold on, let her speak."
Woman: (trying to cover her face from getting hit) "Look at him, he always do this to me"
Man: (jerking off his hand from Jimin's hold, stepping closer to the woman) "No! You're always twisting things, making me look like the bad guy. I'm done with your lies!"
Jimin: (stepping between them, blocking the man) "That's enough. Shouting over her won't solve anything. You need to back off."
The man got more angry and he started walking towards Jimin.
Man: (glaring at Jimin) "I said stay out of it!"
Jimin: (not backing down) "I'm not going to stand by and see you hurt a women in front of me."
The woman hide behind Jimin with desperation.
Woman: (pleading) "Please help me, he's not listening to me. He never does."
But the man's patience snapped. He pushed Jimin back as the argument started to heat. Jimin wobbled a bit trying to balance himself, the situation was going out of control.
Jimin: (voice rising in desperation) "Stop it! Both of you, stop!"
The man suddenly pulled a knife from his pocket. The woman gasped, stumbling back in terror, but the man ran toward her and forcefully thrust the knife forward. In a split-second decision, Jimin ran and quickly positioned himself in front of the woman.
