Jungkook was driving, Jin was sitting beside him, and you were sulking in the backseat, holding your casted hand and looking out of the window with an angry pout. Jungkook glanced at you through the rearview mirror.
Jungkook: (complaining) "Come on, baby, stop sulking now. I'm sorry for my behavior yesterday."
Y/n: (crossing your arms) "You can't just say sorry and expect me to forget everything, Oppa."
Jungkook tightened his grip on the steering wheel, glancing at you again through the rearview mirror.
Jungkook: (glancing back briefly) "Aish, you're really going to hold onto that, huh?"
He shifted gears smoothly but his attention was flicking between the road and your sulking figure in the backseat.
Y/n: (turning away) "Maybe I will. You were so mean yesterday."
Jungkook: (sighing dramatically, making a sharp turn) "I guess I'll just have to live with the guilt then. But it's going to be really hard, especially when I bring your favorite snacks and you're still mad at me."
You couldn't help but glance at him from the corner of your eye, noticing the way he was trying to catch your reaction in the mirror.
Y/n: (side-eyeing him) "Bribery won't work this time, Oppa."
Jungkook: (smirking, keeping his eyes on the road) "Ouch, cold as ice. But don't worry, you know you can't stay mad at me for long."
Y/n: (pouting, huffing) "I can, and I will."
Jungkook: (playfully, tapping the steering wheel) "Challenge accepted, then. But just so you know, I'm really stubborn too."
Y/n: (sharply) "Well, maybe if you weren't so selfish, we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place."
Jungkook: (hurt, looking out the window) "Selfish? Is that what you really think of me?"
Jin: (firmly, turning to look at you) "Princess, that's enough! Don't you think you're forgetting your manners? Do you want me to teach you how to speak politely with your older brother? Apologize to Jungkook now."
Y/n: (frowning, looking down) "But he..."
Jin: (cutting you off) "No buts. Jungkook is trying to apologize. There's no need to be so harsh. He made a mistake, but he cares about you a lot. Don't let your anger make you say things you'll regret."
Y/n: (with an angry pout) "I'm sorry, Oppa, for being rude."
Jungkook didn't say anything, just nodded while driving. You continued staring out of the window, and Jin chuckled softly at your pout.
After a moment of silence, Jungkook spoke again.
Jungkook: (softly) "So, does my baby want ice cream? or chocolate? or maybe some cookies too?"
