Chapter 1.6 Late night drive (Edited)

As they made their way out of the Jimin's ward. Everyone walked through the quiet hospital corridors, each lost in their own thoughts.

Jin: (relieved) "Honestly, this night turned out to be crazier than any of us could have imagined."

Suga: (calm) "Yeah, but at least Jimin is okay now. That's what matters the most."

Taehyung: (laughing) "You should've seen the look on the nurse's face when she found out Jimin got stabbed. Priceless."

Namjoon: (concerned) "Well, next time, maybe try calling instead of rushing to the hospital in the middle of the night. It's not safe."

Jin: (scolding) "You shouldn't be one to talk. You came here first running in the middle of the night."

Namjoon: (while scratching the back of his head) "Hehe, sorry for making you all worry."

As they reached the hospital exit, they were met with the chilly night air.

Suga: (glancing around nervously, rubbing the back of his neck) "So, how are we going home?"

Namjoon: (calmly, hands casually in his pockets) "Obviously by our cars."

Suga: (still uneasy) "I mean, we should go in pairs. It's midnight now, and it's not safe to go alone."

Taehyung: (raising an eyebrow, looking around) "Have you all come in one car?"

Jungkook: (nodding) "Yeah, I brought mine."

Namjoon: (with a slight nod) "Same here."

Taehyung: (thinking for a moment, then turning to Suga) "Alright, so we have three cars. Suga Hyung, you can ride with me."

Namjoon: (starting to walk towards his car, keys jingling in his hand) "Then should I leave first?"

Before Namjoon could take another step, Jin reached out and grabbed the back of his shirt, pulling him to a stop.

Jin: (firmly, tight grip) "No, never. You're the reason we're going in pairs. You're not driving."

Namjoon: (whining, turning to Jin with a pout) "Wae?"

Suga: (serious, stepping closer and placing a hand on Namjoon's shoulder) "Have you forgotten? For you, the first, second, and third priority is safety."

Namjoon: (pouting even more, his tone softer) "But I can drive now."

Jin: (crossing his arms, his expression stern) "In the daytime, not at night."

While Hyung line were having this conversation, Jungkook, and Taehyung were laughing silently. 

Jungkook: (excitedly) "Okay then, Namjoon Hyung. Let's go together."

Namjoon: (pouting) "Okay, but I will choose the playlist."

Jungkook: (laughing, giving a thumbs up) "I'm ready! Let's go."

Jin: (chuckles at Namjoon's reaction, shaking his head in amusement) "Alright, I'm taking Namjoon's car."

Taehyung: (nodding in agreement) "Jin Hyung, since you're going alone, you should leave first. We'll follow you."

Jin: (nodding, grabbing his keys) "Alright, see you guys at home."

Suga: (looking concerned, crossing his arms) "Hyung, just make sure to keep us updated, and if anything seems off, call us immediately."

Jin: (smiling reassuringly) "Don't worry, Yoongi. I'll be fine. You guys just make sure to drive safe."

Jungkook: (grinning) "Jin Hyung, just don't get distracted by any food places on the way. We don't want you stopping at every fried chicken shop."

Jin: (laughs, pointing at Jungkook) "Hey, I can't help it if I see good food! But I promise, no stops... unless it's really good."

Namjoon: (teasing) "I bet you'll be parked outside a restaurant in ten minutes."

Taehyung: (chuckling) "Five minutes if they have something new on the menu."

Suga: (smirking) "Two minutes if you can even smell the food from your car."

Jin: (pretending to be offended, placing a hand on his chest) "You guys have no faith in me!  I'm more than just my love for food, you know!"

Taehyung: (grinning) "Remember that time you stopped at three different restaurants on the way to the airport?"

Namjoon: (nodding) "And we almost missed the flight because of you!"

Jin: (smiling sheepishly) "Okay, okay, I admit I have a weakness. But this time, I'll get home first, and you'll all see."

Jungkook: (playfully) "We'll believe it when we see it."

Suga: (nodding) "Drive safe, Hyung. See you at home."

Jin sat inside the car. He waved them goodbye and started driving.

Jungkook: (Junshooked) "Why is waving us goodbye? We are eventually going to meet at home."

Namjoon: (tapping Jungkook) "Yaah, Jungkook-ah!! where are you lost? let's go"

Jungkook: (coming back to reality) "Oh yes, let's go."

The groups separated, with Jungkook and Namjoon heading towards Jungkook's car, and Taehyung and Suga headed towards Taehyung's car.

The drive back home was filled with a comfortable silence. They all reached home together.
