"I'm not watching a damn kids' movie." Theo declared, receiving an annoyed look from Ainsley.

She had suggested that they could watch the Barbie movie but Theo and Louis state that it's a kids' movie. Of course, Ainsley wasn't going to give in and suggest something else. She wasn't going to lose, at least not to the likes of them.

"Guys, let's just watch something Iris suggests. She's neutral about this situation, right?" Carla added, wanting the three to stop throwing insults at each other.

Ainsley was sure that Iris would take her side, she was their favourite after all. (No one said so, but she thinks she should be.)

"I think we should watch... Another, the anime!!" Oh of course Iris suggested an anime. That's all the watches.

"Sweet, Another it is!" Carla concluded.

"But-" Ainsley was cut off by Carla, "You should listen to your elders now, little girl."

"I don't even listen to my parents, you expect me to listen to you?" Ainsley mumbled looking around.

She noticed that two people were missing. The two people being Nora and Draco. She immediately went to look for them using the excuse that she suddenly wants to watch Another so bad, despite already having watched it.

She wandered the house- or should I say manision, for a few minutes before spotting two silhouettes in the garden.

The pair seemed to be having a staring competition, you know the ones from Wattpad stories when the main characters get 'lost' in each other's eyes? Yeah that scene. Cliché, right? So anyways, Ainsley opened the huge ass door that led to the garden.

She wanted to sneak up on them and startle them, but she failed because for the noise the door made when she opened it.

Not only are the Malfoys old, their house is as well, she thought to herself.

"What the actual fuck? You were supposed to be watching the movie with us!!" Ainsley glared at the two, internally smirking when she noticed Draco's annoyed expressed.

Nora acknowledged Ainsley's statement and headed inside. But Draco, being the bitch he is, started yelling at the poor girl.

And Ainsley snapped back, ofc.

It went on until Carla came to their rescue.

The group watched six episodes of Another. They couldn't keep continuing since Lucious decided to butt in. So here Ainsley was, heading to her assigned guest room just to watch the Barbie movie that the others didn't want to watch.

On her way, she found Draco stood outside Nora's door contemplating whether or not to open it. She sneaked up beside him and let out a low laugh. One that's used in horror movies.

He was scared and almost cursed at her, but he controlled himself as to not alert Nora about his presence.

"Just what is your deal?" He snickered at the girl who was staring at him with a smug smile, which left when he questioned her.

"I think I should be the one asking you that." Ainsley replied.

"You are seriously getting on my nerves." Draco muttered. He seemed to be furious. Like suuuuper furious. Ainsley could almost spot the flames in his eyes.

She about about to speak when Draco just lashed out on her.

"Look, I don't have the time or energy to put up with your loud and annoying presence. I tried tolerating your childish acts since it would upset Nora otherwise, but I seriously can't do it anymore. Just get out of my sight."

With that he left. Ainsley didn't deny that whatever he said did kind of hurt her. She considered him a friend despite all the comments she had made about hating him.

She wanted to shrug it off as nothing but his tone differed from their usual diss battles. He seemed tired of her and genuine hatred was evident in his eyes. That day Ainsley lost a friend.

It was now the next day. Everyone were seated in the dining hall, having their lunch. They had small talk here an there but it was mostly quiet. Louis had managed to figure out what was missing in the atmosphere.

It was Draco and Ainsley. Their disagreements and insults to be precise. He frowned as he realised that they haven't spoken a word since the morning.

"What's wrong with you two? Y'all are awfully quiet." He raised a brow at them. The duo simply looked at him, tiredness painting their face, before returning their gazes on their food.

They're basically the same people. They even behave the same way, Louis thought.

He gave up on restoring the atmosphere and went back to his food.

"What do you mean you're leaving?" Carla let out, confused.

"Yeah. I have to catch up on studies." Ainsley shrugged, looking away to pack her things.

Ainsley had always spoken her mind to her friends about little matters but never the big ones. She always postponed her worries for later, when she is alone and has nothing to distract her.

She was narcissistic, or at least that's what Nora says. According to Nora, Ainsley was very confident about herself and saw herself superior to the others. Well it is half true though.

She was confident, in the sense, she never paid attention to people's comments regarding her appearance or stuff like that. It's a whole different case when the people are her friends. She valued friends over family, for she had more toxicity than love in hers.

Her friends, mostly Nora, say that her insults make them feel low or hurt them. These times are when Ainsley feels all alone. The thought that her being herself was hurtful to someone made her want to distance her for themselves, just like she is now.

God knows how much she wanted to stay in the Mansion, have fun, make memories with people she cared about a lot. She thought that they should understand her humor and that she would never think ill of them.

But she can't be expecting others to adapt to her, now can she?

Well this one's pretty short. I was feeling out of it so yeah. I apologise if the contents of this chapter were boring and such, I tried my best.
