Chapter 7: Enter Bruce Wayne

A few days later...

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Serena groaned as she was awakened by an alarm clock. She slammed the alarm clock and checked what time it was. It's five-thirty in the morning.

Welp, time to go work and meet a man who owns the business, Serena thought tiredly before getting ready for the first of work.

Ten minutes later, she went to the kitchen and made herself some breakfast. She made eggs, bacon, and two toasts for breakfast. When it was done, she began eating her breakfast. Lyanna was awakened as she came to check on Serena who was fully awakened. Thank God, she didn't sleep in and get herself in trouble for being late.

"Good morning, Serena. I could take that you were ready for your first day of work." Lyanna said with a smile.

"I'm looking forward," Serena responded.

"Are you nervous?" Lyanna asked her.

She shook her head. "Nope. Not at all. Just excited for my first day."

She smiled. "That's good to hear."

"I'm guessing Gotham City is way better than Tokyo. I mean, sure, life is great here, except we had to deal with corruption." Serena said, taking a bite of the toast.

"Indeed. I hope for sure you'll make new friends when you get there." Lyanna said.

She sighed. She didn't want to think about what happened about how her friends had betrayed her by leading her to death. Especially Mamoru who had fooled her feelings. Probably Mamoru was happy with another woman just now. She hoped they were happy without her but they didn't know she was in another universe where she was safe here with Lyanna, her previous father's cat adviser.

"I hope so," Serena said.

When Serena arrived at Wayne Enterprise...

"Welp, time to use the Disguise Pen," Serena said before using the Disguise Pen and transforming as usual, "Moon Power, change me into an assistant!"

After that, she entered the building and prepared for her first day.

"Ah, Miss Moon, you arrived at last. I'm glad you made it in time." Lucius Fox said, smiling.

Serena smiled at him. "Just in time, sir."

"Come, Mr. Wayne is in his office waiting for you," Lucius Fox said before leading her to the office.

"Of course, sir," Serena replied, following him.

At the same time, when Serena was ready to come inside the building, the man dressed in a suit was waiting for his new assistant to arrive while working on his paperwork. This man is none other than Bruce Wayne, a billionaire man who owns the building. He looked at his watch and said it was 6:59 am. She should arrive in no time.

Then the door opened and saw Fox coming in with a woman, "Mr. Wayne, I have brought you your new assistant as I had told you a few days ago."

Bruce nodded. "Good, bring her in."

Then the girl approached until she noticed his face, especially his fancy suit with a black tie. She blinked in shock when she first saw him, looking so handsome. Her face started to flutter heavily as she couldn't help but stare at him.

Whoa! He's handsome... She thought.

"Miss Moon, is anything right? Do you need anything when I'm out?" Fox caught a glimpse of Moon's manifestation.

"Um... No, I don't need anything. Everything is perfectly fine." Moon said shyly, rubbing the back of her head.

"Very well. I will leave you alone with him, so good luck on your first day, Miss Moon." With that, he took off leaving her with Bruce.

Moon began to panic a bit as she watched him leave the office. "Wait... He's not going to teach me what to do? What the hell?"

"Perhaps, I'll tell you what to do, Miss Moon. I had heard so much about you." Bruce began while eyeing her.

"Uuuuummmm... Are you going to help me what to do, sir?" Moon asked shyly.

He nodded. "Of course. You are my new assistant, after all, Miss Moon." He said as he stood up from the chair and gave her a greeting hand, "Bruce Wayne, your new boss."

"Serena Moon." She said as she took his hand and shook it shyly.

"As I said before, I heard so much about you. Mr. Fox told me that you needed this job for the sake of your life." Bruce said, sitting down on the chair while facing her.

"Yeah... That... So, Mr. Wayne, what should I do today on my first day of work?" Serena asked him awkwardly.

"I suggest working on this paperwork. Also, we brought you a new office, so you'll be busy working them." Bruce said, giving her the paperwork and then showing her new office room. It has a big desk with many shelves, a phone, and a computer.

"Wow... The office looks neat," Serena said as she turned to face him, "Thank you, Mr. Wayne. I will do my best to work these papers."

He nodded. "With pleasure. Before you do so, make sure to call me on the phone when someone has called you and tried to contact me."

She nodded back, fluttering a bit. "Yes, sir."

With that, Bruce left Serena in the office before she could do her first day of work. He couldn't help but notice how this girl looked calm, especially since she looked shy on her first day of work. He couldn't help but notice that she looked familiar from the news that he learned from James Gordon because of Serena's sapphire eyes.

She looked different than the girl called Sailor Galaxy, the new savior of Gotham City.

Flashback

"You wanted to see me, Gordon?" Batman asked after seeing the Bat Signal from the building, so he had to come to see him.

"Yes, and you are never going to believe what happened, Batman. You'll be in shock when I tell you this." Gordon said.

He arched his brows through his mask. "What is it?"

Then Gordon explained everything about who Sailor Galaxy was, especially how she had caught Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy robbing the bank. He also told him about her appearance with big wings, looking like an angel.

Batman never believed what he was hearing. A new savior who came to stop the crime? Was she new in Gotham City? Where does she come from? And what purpose does she have to interfere with his job to protect Gotham? He must find out about Sailor Galaxy.

"Gordon, where is this Sailor Galaxy now?" Batman asked him, breaking his own thoughts.

"I have no idea where she went. She suddenly flies off after taking them down. Batman, when you see her, make sure to capture her and question her who she is about her identity. Don't let her get away when she fights off with another crime." Gordon said.

He nodded. "I will find her."

Flashback ends

Bruce frowned at this as he remembered a few days ago. He was told by Gordon to find Sailor Galaxy and investigate her true identity. He wanted to find out if she was a threat to the city or a new hero of Gotham City. Tonight will be the night he must find Sailor Galaxy.

He looked at the window and muttered to himself, saying, "I will find you, Sailor Galaxy."
