Chapter 5: A New Job

"Serena Moon! You must be careful by transforming in front of people! They are going to know your true identity! If you haven't transformed yourself in front of the crowd, they wouldn't know everything!" Lyanna scolded her after she was told everything by Serena about what happened.

"I know, and I'm sorry, Lyanna. They didn't see me transform. I wanted to help the others, but I couldn't help myself by becoming Sailor Galaxy." Serena said, rubbing the back of her head nervously.

She sighed. "I understand you wanted to fight off crimes, but please be careful next time."

Serena nodded. "I promise."

"So you were attempting to get a job?" Lyanna asked, arching her brows.

She nodded again. "Unfortunately, the robbery interrupted my first day, so I had to try again."

"Why not do it in the morning or perhaps I should come with you?" Lyanna suggested.

She shrugged off. "Sure. Why not?"

Lyanna let out a smile. "Okay, get some rest. Tomorrow will be a day."

"Okay." Then Serena went to her bedroom and got herself some rest, leaving Lyanna alone in the living room.

Lyanna sighed tiredly. "Oh, Theodore... What am I ever going to do with your daughter?"

When the morning came, Serena and Lyanna arrived at Wayne Enterprises preparing for the interview. They also made sure no robberies were here as well. The two approached the entrance and greeted the assistant.

"Hello, I am Lyanna Moon, and I brought my sister, Serena, who is here for a job," Lyanna said with a kind smile.

"Of course, please have a seat. I will be here for you shortly."

Then Lyanna and Serena went to sit on the chair and were ready for an assistant to call out for their names.

Oh, man... I'm so nervous... Serena thought, feeling scared as she trembled a bit.

Lyanna noticed and decided to calm her down as she lightly touched her hand. "Everything is going to be alright, Serena." She told her, "I promise it won't be that bad."

"O-Okay..." Serena stuttered, swallowing off her fear as she could face her day.

"Lyanna Moon and Serena Moon? Mr. Fox would like to see you two in the office." An assistant said before guiding them to the office.

"Of course, ma'am. Thank you." Then Serena and Lyanna followed an assistant to the office.

A few seconds later...

"So, you are Serena Moon, aren't you?" Lucius Fox asked, checking on her.

She nodded nervously. "Yes... Yes, I am."

"And why do you want this job for, Miss Moon?" He asked her with a curious look.

"I needed this job because I wanted to be an assistant," Serena told him.

"Have you graduated from college?" Lucius Fox questioned her.

"Yes, I graduated from college and I am from Tokyo, Japan," Serena said.

"And what brings you here in Gotham City?" He asked her.

Serena looked at Lyanna shyly.

Lyanna nodded to her, letting her know that everything was fine. She knew Serena wasn't going to tell him everything about her life, especially her secret identity.

Serena began speaking to him, "To have a new life here."

"I see. Well, Miss Moon, if that's the case of wanting to be an assistant, why don't you work for Mr. Wayne since he owns this building? Perhaps, becoming his assistant?" He said, letting out a smile while folding his fingers together.

"Umm... Sure. I'll take that as a yes." Serena said with a nervous smile.

"Are you sure? You look nervous meeting him." Lucius Fox said, noticing her expression.

"Psst, no. I'm not nervous. I was looking forward to meeting him." Serena said.

"Very well. Here is the paper for your schedule. You will be here next Monday, seven in the morning, and please, do not be late for work or else Mr. Wayne will not like seeing you late." He said, giving her a schedule paper.

Serena nodded to him. "Yes, sir."

"Well, here you go. You are hired, Miss Moon. I will let Mr. Wayne know that you'll be his assistant." He said with a kind smile.

Serena smiled back. "Thank you."
