As for the background, I'd been reading a bunch of K. bakugo and S.Todoroki fics lately and the ones in which the oc was shoto's twin , they always were attached to a hip and very close and affectionate

Anyways, while i loved those fics, they also got me wondering and then craving for one in which there was a rift (sue me🔪)
all of the ones i found interesting had them close then drift away as they figured stuff out and then have them be close again NOW THATS WHERE MY GENIUS FUVKING BRAIN DECIDED that'll i'll do the honours cause why the fuck not🥰🥰

This is how I imagine Akemi's hair, other than that her entire facial structure and all is identical to Shoto, including the heterochromatic eyes , only thing- they're flipped sides.
Quirk: Blue fire, temperature regulation.
She can't use ice like Shoto, she can cool down by lowering the temperature but the max she could do with her 'ice powers' if you could even call it would be making a snowflake. And that too would require a shit ton of concentration so not advisable for fighting.
However, her fire power far exceeds Shoto even if he trained it as much or even more than her. But that also results in only allowing the temperature regulation aspect of her quirk to keep from burning herself, and damaging her body, over heating and other side effects/ restrictions if a quirk still present.
So guess who endewhore preferred more? (yeah this is common cause relatable 😎❤️🩹)

So yeah any interaction, friendship with other characters is purely platonic , maybe even sibling like dk.
As for Shoto's love interest, cause technically both experience blah blah wtv, I may make an oc along the way , i'm not sure how significant his love life will be in this fic or if it'll even exist . Maybe dude can keep that experience for another time, we'll see,
