Chapter 2

~Start Chapter~

"Why are you such an ass, Damen?!?"

"Im not...i just know how to have fun."

While waiting for Kay Hallie and I decided to get caught up with the Vampire Diaries series.

We heard someone walk in and turned around...

"Hey meg! Hey, Duke!"

"Hey i told you not to call me that, loser!!!!!" Hallie stickes her tonge out at David and he does the same.

"Omg David, when did u get back?" I jumped off the couch and gave him a hug. " i feel like haven't seen you in days!"

"i know, i know... its just dad has me pretty busy these days.....Sorry"

eh its ok..... wheres dad anyway???

hes in his office with Blake and Dylan...

***NOTE*** Blake: beta Dylan:third in command

oh.... and he didnt need you????

nah... i asked dad if i could hang with you a bit... hes giving me a lil' break...

thats good.... well what you wanna do?

i think im just gonna sit with you guys... im pretty tired from rounds...

ok sounds good.

"Just dont bully me halfway throught the show," Hallie says with a smirk.

Hallie and David always pick on eachother but never really mean it in a bad way... there just playful with eachother all the time!!! and i honestly love that they get along.

David sat on the couch with me, and honestly tried to watch the show but...

he soon got distracted picking on Hallie.

i soon found my self laughing real hard and trying to get Hallie off of David. The two children decided to have a wrestling match in the middle of the room!

that backfired on me cause i got him off her and he turnd around and sprung at me!!!

soon they were both on me!!!!

i tried to kick them off but they wouldnt budge!!!!! i thought i was gonna die when my mom swooped in and saved me!

"David Peat! you get off your sister!!! Your going to get her all sweaty and dirty before she goes out, and break my couch!!!"

Hallie quickly strightened up and got off me but david just looked towards mom excitement still clear in his eyes.

"But mom we were just playing!!!!"

"i know that but you might hurt her..." she spoke more softly then.

"Sorry mom...." david got up and pulled me up off the floor, his head hung low.

Mom walked over to him and held his face and made him look at her...

"I'm sorry for getting mad sweetie, its just meg is so fragile... i worry... i know you wouldnt mean any harm but...."

"i know mom... i'll be more careful..." he talkes her hands and gives them a squeeze.

she turns to me:

"are you ok?" worry is clear in her eyes.

"mom im fine.... i can handle myself!"

"i know hun..."

"then why do say im too fragile!?"

"I'm just worried.... you look just like her and because of that im even more protective of you now than ever..."

she startes to tear up. i walk over and hug her.

"i understand mom..... im sorry... we' ll be more careful..." I say tearing up with her...

i feel sorry for my mom... i m still sad about it too but... mom took it harder than any of us... she got really depressed... when...

when my sister died...
