Chapter 9

I stayed up all night thinking about what happened in the car and why these things kept happening to me, why him?
why did i get so nervous like this, why was my heart beating so fast, and a lot of other whys...., i got tired of thinking about these things all the time.

So, i push these feelings away as always and concentrated on my real purpose which is to get stronger so, i could be ready when the time comes.

I went to school the next morning and i even told Elle to meet me at toca bell like Andrew planned, and she said she' ll be there.

I asked Julia if she could end practice early today and she did, i went home early and waited, while i was waiting my phone rang Kara Davis's phone, it was an unknown number.

I don't know why i answered but i got the feeling it was someone i know and i was right, because when i picked up, i heard a familiar voice,

" Hello ?"

" Andrew ??, how did you get my number ?"

"I will answer all of your questions but, first get dressed, i'm outside waiting for you, so we can go see what happened
with the love birds."

I panicked, what the hell is he doing outside of my house,if anyone sees him they'll start asking questions and i don't want that, so i said " Okay, i'll be right out"

Okay this is so weird, okay focus kara focus, i wore a black wide leg pants, a black tank top with a jeans jacket on top and some white shoes.

Then I told Julia i was going out with Elle, she didn't mind and when i got out of the house he was parked in front of the house waiting so, i quickly got in the car and told him to go, of course this time i'm not putting on the seat belt.

We arrived at tocabell on time, it was 8 o'clock, Andrew parked far so they couldn't see us and we waited for them to arrive.

Dylan arrived first then after 2 minutes Elle arrived too, they both sat at different tables and began looking at each nervously,
that's when they both started calling us, Elle kept ringing and so did Dylan but we didn't answer.

After a while Dylan stopped calling but, Elle was still calling and texting me,

suddenly Andrew shook me and
said " Look look !!"

I lifted my head and saw Dylan walking towards Elle's table, but Elle didn't notice him she was looking at her phone so, he tapped on her shoulder, she turned and looked so surprised, that's when he sat with her on the table and they started talking, they looked really cute together.

Me and andrew sat in the car watching how they were talking and smiling,
They looked like they were having a good time.

Then out of nowhere Andrew asked " Do you want to go for a walk ?"

I hesitated for a second and replied
" Sure why not"

We got out of the car and started walking, that's when i realized we're wearing the same color of clothing,
black t-shirt and black pants with a jeans jacket on top, he's even wearing white shoes, we looked at each other nervously and ignored it,

God why is this happening to me, now i regret agreeing to take a walk,

he then started talking " So, you asked me how i got your number, i'm going to tell you but please don't freak out"

İ stopped and looked at him.
He continued " so, you know how i'm into tech stuff and things like that ?"

I raised an eyebrow and said " Yeah...."

" Well, i kinda of hacked Elle's phone to get your number, but i swear to god i got the number and unhacked the phone i swearr !!"

I began laughing and said " You know you could have just asked for my number, looks like you're not just a nerd after all, i'm impressed"

and then i started walking again, he caught up to me and

said " you're an interesting person you know that right ?!"

İ half smiled and said " i know, but next time when you want something just ask"

He smiled and said " i will, i really thought you would hit me or something"

Before, i could answer him, we were interapted by a lady who stopped in front of us and said to me
" Hello pretty girl, do you want to know your future ?"

She was an old lady, wearing some kinda of a dress i think, with a lot of necklaces,

i took a step back and said " No thank you"

We started walking again and that's
when the old lady said " Poor girl, you've been through a lot"

i stopped, turned to her and said " i'm sorry do i know you ?"

She ignored my question and continued
" You've got your life all planned out, but there's one thing in particular that you never planned and that thing is gonna turn your life upside down."

I narrowed my eyes and answered " Oh, really and what's that thing ??

Suddenly, she stepped closer and whispered in my ears "Love..my child", then she looked towards Andrew and walked away.

I stood in my place, trying to process what she just said, who the hell is she and what the hell is she talking about.

Suddenly the phone rang it was Lena,
i picked up and she said,

" Kara where are you ??"

" I'm out with Elle, is something wrong ?"

She sighed and said " Yes, i thought you were home so i brought Jack so, the family could meet him, please can you come home please, i really want you to meet him"

I exhaled and said " Fine, i'm coming"

" Thank you thank you, love you bye!" And she hung up,

I turned to Andrew and
said " Can you take me home ??"

He looked at me curiously and
said " Sure, let's go!"

We arrived at my house and before i got out of the car
i smiled and said " Thank you for helping me with Elle and of course thanks for the ride"

He smiled back and said " No problem, and by the way whatever the old lady told you don't believe it, its just stupid psychic stuff, its not real anyway."

" I really hope you're right, good night" and then i got out of the car.

As soon as i entered the house Lena took my hand , led me to the backyard and we stopped in front of a man,

" Kara i want you to meet my boyfriend Jack"

He turned and i froze in my place,
i couldn't talk, i couldn't speak, i couldn't believe my eyes,
it was..... George walker's son, my cousin
Jack... Jack walker.
