"Big crowd down there huh?" Alexis asks as she finds Garth sitting on a hill looking down at the gathering wolves in the gorge.
"Alexis? What are you doing here?" Garth asks as he turns to look at Alexis.
"Thought I'd wish you luck on your big day. And I wanted to say good-bye." Alexis says.
"Good-bye? Why?" Garth asks curiously.
"Well I'm leaving. I've decided not to stay in Jasper Park after all." Alexis says.
"You still want to leave after everything?" Garth asks sadly as Alexis nods.
"Yeah. You have a responsibility to the pack by marrying my sister that you barely know and don't love and I have a responsibility to myself by leaving and finding where I belong at out there. I just wanted to see you one last time before I left." Alexis says.
"You'll be great out there. You're a strong female. I have no doubt you'll find what you're looking for." Garth says as he smiles softly at Alexis.
"Thanks. I have no doubt myself that you'll make an amazing leader. Kate will certainly be gaining a great howling partner. Congratulations." Alexis says.
"Yeah. Thanks... Kate is a lucky girl. I'm a lucky guy..." Garth says as Alexis turns to leave.
"Good-bye Garth. I'll see you around I guess." Alexis says sadly as she sighs.
"Yeah. Take care. Bye Alexis." Garth says as Alexis takes off running into the woods before stopping as she sees Humphrey.
"Humphrey? What are you doing out here?" Alexis asks as Humphrey sees her.
"Oh uh I was just uh leaving. I've decided staying here isn't what is best for me." Humphrey says sadly as he looks down.
"Kate?" Alexis asks as Humphrey looks at her and nods.
"Yeah. Garth?" Humphrey asks as Alexis nods.
"Yup. I was about to leave myself. Wanna join me? Two wolves are better than one out there. May not be mates but we'll have better survival chances." Alexis says kindly.
"Sure." Humphrey says as he smiles softly.
"Follow me then. I got some friends who can help us." Alexis says as she and Humphrey take off running.
*Timeskip*
"Do you think we can make it?" Alexis as she and Humphrey are running toward the train as Marcel and Paddy are flying next to them.
"Yes sir and just as you hit the tracks you should see an open train car." Paddy says.
"Well avoid truck stops, bears, and that hideous dessert. What is it called?" Marcel asks.
"Cupcakes sir." Paddy says.
"Yes. Cupcakes." Marcel says.
"We will." Alexis says.
"Thanks guys." Humphrey says as he and Alexis run toward the tracks and see the open train car before Alexis stops looking at the open car.
"Humphrey stop!" Alexis says as Humphrey stops and looks at her.
"What is it? We gotta move or we'll miss the train." Humphrey says.
"Humphrey we can't do this. We can't leave." Alexis says.
"What? What do you mean?" Humphrey asks.
"I know what pack law says but we can't leave. We have to tell Garth and Kate the truth." Alexis says.
"They can't marry us Alexis. They're both Alphas and we're Omegas. And besides they probably don't even feel the same way." Humphrey says sadly.
"We won't know unless we try Humphrey. I'm going back. I want to tell Garth the truth. Even if he doesn't feel the same he deserves to know. I just can't leave without telling him. If he still feels he should marry Kate rather than be true to his heart or doesn't feel the same then I'll leave. But not before." Alexis says as she turns around.
"Alexis wait! I'm coming with you. You're right. Kate deserves to know. I'll never forgive myself if I don't tell her. Then if things don't go the way we hope then we'll leave together. Deal?" Humphrey asks as he runs over to beside Alexis.
"Deal. Come on. We better hurry if we want to get there before it's too late." Alexis says as she and Humphrey take off running.
*Timeskip*
"Humphrey I hear trouble up ahead! Humphrey? Where he get off to?" Alexis asks as she is running toward the gorge hearing a commotion as wolves are running to the sides of the gorge.
"Oof!" Alexis and another wolf say as she gets ran into and tackled down to the ground.
"Alexis?" The wolf asks before Alexis sees Garth is on top of her.
"Garth?" Alexis asks as she and Garth get up.
"You came back." Garth says happily as he nuzzles Alexis.
"Of course I did. What's going on?" Alexis asks.
"Kate and I decided we don't want to marry. We don't want to marry because I love you and Kate loves Humphrey. But my father did not take it well. The packs began fighting and it started a stampede." Garth says.
"Really? You fell in love with me?" Alexis asks happily in surprise.
"Really." Garth says as he nods while smiling.
"I love you too. Sounds like the stampede has stopped." Alexis says as the sounds die down in the gorge.
"My dad and Winston were down there. Kate went to help." Garth says.
"Humphrey probably found her and went with her. Come on." Alexis says as everyone heads back down to the gorge and sees Humphrey sitting next to a motionless Kate as Winston and Tony are nearby.
"Oh no." Garth says sadly.
"Kate. No..." Alexis says sadly.
"Kate! Kate. Kate. Please Kate. Please you can't do this. I love you." Humphrey says as he and the other wolves begin howling sadly.
"Humphrey?" Kate asks as she wakes up and sits up.
"Kate! I thought I'd lost you." Humphrey says before Kate begins whispering in his ear making him happily wag his tail before he does the same.
"Maybe this can work." Tony says.
"All right." Winston says as Alexis and Garth happily rub noses before the two see Humphrey and Kate doing the same alongside Lilly and Hutch.
"Looks like we're not the only rule breakers here." Garth says as he chuckles.
"Nope. But I have no complaints." Alexis says happily.
"Neither do I." Garth says happily.
