I woke up to bright lights and noise. I groaned and attempted to sit up, but flopped back down, defeated. A pretty, young, mixed race woman in a white nurses outfit rushed towards me. "Relax, relax." she said soothingly. "Just rest. Close your eyes, close your eyes."

I was just to damn tired to object, do I laid down and closed my eyes. I allowed the nurse to stuff a few more fluffy pillows under my head before completing blacking out. I guessed I was probably on some sort of drugs, because I don't remember doing an all night -er lately.

I awoke again a few hours later, feeling much better. I felt stronger then I had before, so I attempted to sit. I succeeded. I looked around. I was in a hospital bed, wearing a green hospital shirt or whatever. There were all sorts of cords and tubes attached all over me, and they lead to lots of different drugs and things on a stand by my bed.

There was a window to the left of me, where a warm-ish breeze was coming through. Double doors were on the far left side of the room. Next to them was a clock. It read 1:16.

Everything around me looked clinical and white, except for a vase of cherry coloured tulips on the window sill. They were so bright and colourful, they made me smile.

Then it came to me. What the hell was I doing here?! I racked my memory, but all I could come up with was a man called Wane .M. Montgomery or something. I don't think that's even right. I decided I would ask the next person who walked into this room why I was here. Lucky for me, I didn't have to wait long.

The same nurse who had put me to sleep earlier just bustled into the room right at that moment. I immediately asked her my question.

The nurse stopped in her tracks and stared at me. Her face turned ghostly white. I had the feeling she didn't really feel like telling me. But I was determined. I mean, I didn't feel hurt or anything, even though I appeared to be in a hospital. Maybe there was internal damage, but I still feel pretty normal inside. I needed answers. Now.

"Well?!" I asked. "What in hell is darn happening?!" I was surprised at myself then. Had I really just freaked out at my nurse like that. She looked even more terrified that before and was even more white. Yep, she really did not want to talk! So much for being helpful! Just when I thought she was going to leave, she glided up to my bed and sat down on the edge.

"You are here," she began slowly, "Because the Malfoy's have disowned you. In a very...well...illegal, if you will, way."
