I smack my alarm, turning it off. I sit up and stretch, forgetting why I set my alarm for so early for a second. I get out of bed and pick up my nichirin sword, pulling it out of its sheath by the blue hilt a little bit to see the ocean blue blade with white wavy lines on it, getting excited to see my friends! I grab my haori and change into it before putting my zori on and tying my hair up so it won't get in the way. I grab my nichirin sword and go out front, opening my portal and stepping through to find myself 50 feet from the edge of the forest right outside the Butterfly Mansion. It's just after sunset.

I go inside and immediately find Tengen right in front of me.
"Hey, Tengen! I missed you!" I wrap my arms around him in a big hug.
"Hey, Kie! How you been?" Tengen replied.
"Good! You and Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru?" I asked.
"We've been great! They're currently on a mission. But they'll be okay." Tengen said.
"I hope so." I replied.
"Kie!! I knew I recognized that voice!" Zenitsu ran over to me and gave me a big hug.
"Zenni!! I've missed you so much!" I hugged him back.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME WITH THESE PEOPLE?! THEY MADE ME GO INTO A FOREST WITH SPIDER DEMONS ALL ALONE!!" Zenitsu started screaming and crying.
"Zenni! Shush!!" I reached over and hand chopped the nerve in his neck, knocking him out.
"Jeesh. A little too much cry baby if you ask me." Shinobu says from around the corner.
"I know. He needs some sort of chill pill for that." I replied.
"Kyra? Is that you?" I heard Tanjiro's voice from the direction of the infirmary.
"Tanjiro?" I asked rounding the corner.
"Kyra!! I've missed you! How have you been?" Tanjiro asked.
"I've been good! What demon did you fight this time?" I asked.
"Just Lower Moon 5. Rui. He was tough but we beat him and his makeshift family." Tanjiro said.
"Kieeeee!!" Inosuke jumped out of nowhere and tackled me.
"Inosuke!! I missed you!!" I said and hugged him, not even phased by his tackle.
"Where have you been?! We had to fight a lower moon without you!!" Inosuke said.
"I was home remember? I had to go home for something very helpful that my father hid before Muzan Kibutsuji killed him. He didn't turn my father into a demon and I don't know why but I went home to find it and when I finally found where he hid it, it wasn't there. All that was there was scorch marks. I think my father burned the object he was trying to hide and that's why Muzan didn't turn him into a demon." I said.
