My alarm went off at 8 AM and I smacked it, turning it off. I sat up and looked in the mirror to find my hair in bed head mode. I rolled my eyes and got out of bed, going over to my closet and pulling out my mint green mermaid t-shirt, my jean shorts, and my socks. I changed into my clothes, brushed my hair and teeth, and put deodorant and a little bit of mascara on. I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs to eat the chocolate chip pancake breakfast that Dad made.
"Mmmmm thish ish sho good!!" I said, mouth full of chocolate chip pancake.
"Thanks! Now don't talk with your mouth full." Dad said, chuckling.
"You going to hang out with your miraculous friends today, sweetie?" Mom asked, giggling at her own pun.
".........Not funny, Mom. But yeah, I'm going to hang out with Marinette and Adrien and everyone." I replied.
"I bet you 2,989 yen that the villain in that universe will make another attempt to steal the miraculous's again while you're there." Dad said, knowing that I'm going to visit my friends and family in the My Hero Academia universe tomorrow.
"I'll bet you 7, 473 yen that Ladybug will need 4 other people to join you, her, and Cat Noir." Mom said.
"I bet 14, 946 yen AND your bets that you both are right. I will tell you everything that happens when I get back home tonight. Love you guys, breakfast was delicious, I'll see you later." I said, getting up, grabbing my backpack, and heading out the door.
"Deal. Love you too, kiddo! See you later!" Mom and Dad replied.
I stopped in the front yard and opened my portal, stepping through to find myself in the sewer underneath Paris. I went around two corners, pulled a brick out of the wall, and picked up the little box to let Dezzie out and put the miraculous on.
"Kyra!! You came back!! I've missed you so much!!" Dezzie flew around excitedly.
"I missed you too, Dezzie!" I giggled.
"Let's go find Marinette! I wanna see her and Tikki! And maybe Plagg later! I'm just so happy to be free again!" Dezzie said.
"Here, Dezzie. You're probably really hungry." I smiled as I gave her a piece of sushi.
"Mmmm yummy!!" Dezzie said, satisfied.
"Alright. Let's go find Marinette!" I said, starting to climb the ladder to the streets of Paris.
"Yayyy!!" Dezzie followed me.
Dezzie hid in my backpack and I started walking towards the Dupan-Cheng bakery. I went inside and asked for Marinette. Mrs. Cheng said that Marinette is in her room and to head on upstairs. I thanked her and went up the stairs and paused at her trapped bedroom door.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!
"Marinette? It's Kyra! You in here?" I called out.
"Come on in, Kyra!!" Marinette called back, followed by 3 loud crashes.
"You okay, Marinette?" I giggled.
"Yep! All good!" Marinette said, climbing down the ladder from her bed.
"How's everyone been? Sorry I haven't visited in a while." I asked her.
"Everyone is good! They miss you and now you can see them! I missed you too!" Marinette gave me a quick hug.
"I can't wait to see everyone! I've missed everyone so much! I missed you too, Marinette!" I replied.
"Tikki!!" Dezzie came out of my backpack.
"Dezzie!!" Tikki came out of Marinette's little bag.
"They can visit with each other in my backpack on the way to meet everyone on Liberty." I offered.
