30 | Epilogue.

Kennedy was standing on a ladder painting the wall when she heard the sound of Sam walking into the house.

"Babe?" She heard him call from the front entrance.

"Ya! I'm in here" she shouted back to him before going back to painting.

"What're you doing?" Sam asked as he walked into the room.

"Painting?" She chuckled.

"I'm no expert but I'm 99% sure the doctor told you that you aren't supposed to be on a ladder while 9 months pregnant? But maybe I heard her wrong" Sam laughed

He pulled off his jacket before helping Kennedy down the ladder and taking the paint from her to finish doing what she was doing.

"I was basically finished anyways ya know, and I wasn't even at the top of the ladder" she chuckled as he finished up painting.

"Doesn't matter, I need both of you healthy and happy" Sam said climbing down from the ladder putting down the paint before squishing Kennedy's face and kissing her on the forehead.

"Ya ya, What time is everyone coming at?" She asked.

"I think 5:30 or 6ish" Sam replied as the two of them walked out of the nursery closing the door behind himself.

"And it's 3 now, okay I'm gonna finish up dinner and then take a shower and get dressed" Kennedy smiled.

"Okay, I'll just finish cleaning and shower after you" Sam said kissing the top of Kennedy's head before walking away.

The two spent the next two hours getting ready and finishing up everything before Kennedy placed the table settings.

It was Thanksgiving day and it was Kennedy and Sam's turn to host. Sam had brought an extra table upstairs so that everyone could sit while Kennedy set the table as beautifully as she could.

It was around 5:45 when Colby and Stella walked in.

"Hey!" Colby shouted through the house.

"Hey Colby!" Sam shouted so he knew they were in the kitchen.

Stella and Colby took off their shoes and made their way into the kitchen.

"Hey" Kennedy smiled at the two.

"Hey Kenny" Colby said before hugging the girl "how's my godchild?"

"They're doing great" Kennedy smiled at him before turning to Stella.

"Hi!" Stella smiled before hugging Kennedy "how ya feeling?"

"Ugh tired but ya know. How are you?" she laughed.

"Doing good" she smiled before holding up her hand.

"No wayyyy" Kennedy squealed as she saw the beautiful engagement ring sitting on her finger.

"I knowww" Stella smiled.

Kennedy and Stella spent a few minutes chatting before they heard Jake shout that they were here.

"Hey!" Kennedy said as they walked into the front entrance to greet him and Tara.

The group stepped into the living room and chatted for a few minutes before the next group of friends walked in.

Sam stood up to greet them as Kennedy kept talking to the rest of the group.

Devyn, Corey and their son Tyson walked into the room behind Sam.

"Hey little man!" Kennedy said as the boy came up and sat beside her.

"Hey guys" Devyn said to the group.
