Peter woke up early on the morning of the first day of school. He threw on his best school outfit and went to the kitchen for his breakfast. When he arrived in the kitchen he saw his parents and two younger siblings already sitting at the table. 'Typical,' he thought as he grabbed an apple from the fruit basket his father called for him.

"What are you wearing?" His mother asked him as he started to make his way to the elevator.

"Um... clothes," he replied matter-of-factly.

"Barely any, that shirt is unacceptable, you need to go change! Think about the example you're setting for the twins," Pepper told him. Peter rolled his eyes and kept walking. Tony put his hand on his wife's shoulder as if to tell her that's enough.

"Wait, Peter! Since you're the closest from freshman year, can you give these two some advice on what not to do," he asked Peter. Peter turned around with a look of disbelief.

"Are you sure I'm the right person for that, what with how much trouble I get into?"

"Yes, tell them what not to do, where you've gone wrong." Peter rolled his eyes and started to leave.

"Don't do drugs, don't drink alcohol, stay away from the boys bathroom on floor 2, that's where the pot heads go and where couples bang each other, made that mistake 2nd day of school, not fun. And whatever you do, don't make friends with Flash Thompson, he's a bitch, but you do you. Bye!" Peter was right about Flash Thompson being a bitch, but he only said that because Flash Thompson was his dealer, he didn't want his siblings to fall down the hole that he had, not that they would, what with their perfect family without Peter.

"Where do you think you're going? We're all driving in together mister," his mom told him, choosing to ignore the advice he gave.

"Seems that no one told me since I already have a ride, see you after school," and with that he left, leaving a stunned Morgan and Harley behind, the two of them a little frightened for the day. Tony just put his head in his hands and whispered a little prayer, hoping he could mend his relationship with his eldest son.

Peter got off the elevator and walked to his boyfriend's car. He hopped into the passenger seat and gave Johnny a peck on the cheek. All the way to school the two talked while Johnny rested his hand on Peter's thigh. They arrived at school and walked to the gymnasium where every first day of school started. Peter and Johnny got two seats in the back of the auditorium where their friend group always sat whether it was a pep rally or a class announcement. The friend group sat together while they watched the freshmen file in as the principal introduced them. Peter could see Harley and Morgan searching in the crowd for him, but since he was in the back they couldn't see him.

The principal droned on and on for a good hour until he gave room assignments for every grade to get their schedules. Peter and Johnny got up and went to their assigned room to get their schedules. They were both ecstatic to realize that they had every single class together and started walking to their lunch period. They sat down at their normal table where they would usually be joined by their friends on the basketball team. Their friends started joining them and the one the two of them were the closest to, Wade Wilson, slung an arm around their shoulders, "Party at my place 6 pm on Sunday."

Wade Wilson was a jock to put it plain and simple, but he was Johnny and Peter's best friend and one of the only ones, other than Ned, Mj, Nat, and Bucky, that knew the two were dating. Wade Wilson was the designated partier at the school and always threw the best parties.

"Hey, Wade, quick rule. You see those two over there," Peter pointed at his siblings, "don't invite them to anything, they're suck up's and would be the ones to call the cops."

"Got it Petey," Wade replied saluting, "Don't be late!" Peter laughed and finished his lunch, hand intertwined with Johnnys under the table. The two then walked to their next class and sat down in the seats next to each other.

As the teacher talked Johnny scribbled something down on a piece of paper and handed it to Peter. 'Meet at regular spot tonight?' Peter looked over and nodded at Johnny who gave Peter a smile.

When their classes were over the two of them walked out, planning to head to their place, what with both of them being pretty rich and having really good paying jobs, they saved up enough money to buy an apartment where they would stay a lot. As they were walking out the door Peter heard someone call his name. He turned around to see his siblings calling out for him.

"What do you two want?" He asked them sounding annoyed.

"Well, are you coming home with us? We're having a celebration dinner tonight and since we don't see you that much we were wondering if you were coming?" Morgan asked him. Peter was stunned. When he had asked his parents to have a dinner on his first day of high school it hadn't gone so great.

~Flashback~

"Hey mom, I was wondering since it's my first day of high school and all if we could have dinner altogether?" He asked his mother.

"I'm sorry Pete, I already promised the other two that we would celebrate their first day," his replied.

"Why are they always so much more important than me! I'm your son too y'know and it's my first day of high school and they're in seventh grade, which is like, starting third grade, it's irrelevant, but I'm starting high school!"

"Peter, don't be irrational, I love you just as much, but they asked me and I already said yes," his mom said to him.

"And I've asked you every single year, every important moment of my life has been blown off because something 'more important' has happened with them. When was the last time you celebrated my birthday, when was the last time we celebrated my first day of school, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU EVEN CELEBRATED ANYTHING WITH ME!"

"Well, last year, when, when, um," his mom stumbled.

"That's what I thought, I'm going to school and going out with my friends tonight, so don't expect me to be there tonight while you gush over their first day of seventh grade," that was the day Peter lost hope of ever being seen as a part of the family.

~End of flashback~

"I'm not going, I have some plans tonight, tell mom and dad to have a great fucking first day of high school celebration." And with that Peter walked off with Johnny.
