Chapter 8

15 minutes after Tyler gave birth to a baby girl,

Tyler wakes up in the middle of the night with Tatiana crying. She was moving her little hand reaching for her mother. Duncan placed the kiss on Tyler's lips and the newborn's forehead. "That's our little Tatiana right here," Somehow, she was still crying when she was being taken out from her home. At this time, Duncan was bonding with his daughter while Tyler is resting. Tyler and Duncan's parents came to see the baby

Mr. Herro: Hi Tyler, how are you feeling?

Tyler Herro: I'm alright dad.

Mr. Herro: that's good.

The family were very excited to see the baby girl.

Mr. And Mrs. Robinson: Hi there little Tatiana. This is your grandpa and grandma.

Tyler smiles seeing the family getting to know his newborn daughter. Erik and the midwife were still cleaning up his areas after the birth. At that moment, Tatiana was crying for her mother making her mom feel sad. "It's alright, let's return to your mommy okay?" "She's hungry," Mrs. Duncan returns the baby back to Tyler Herro.

Tyler held the baby in his arms and started nursing her. Not only that, she was still trying to adjust the environment since she was born. The family were surprised that Tyler Herro became the first NBA player to give birth while playing for Miami Heat. In the meantime, Tyler explains about how he managed to choose the home birth due to the fact that he had been watching the movies on how the mothers had chosen to have a baby at home.

Well not that often, but the next pregnancy he would do is that he will be having a baby in the hospital. Otherwise, he will be resting in the Herro-Robinson house in Miami. Duncan Robinson started bonding with the baby while his girlfriend Tyler Herro rested on the bed.

Duncan Robinson's POV:

I was so happy that my Tyler gave birth to our baby girl named Tatiana. The first thing that happened was that it was the hardest birth that my Tyler had to go through because he knew the pain was so unbearable just to give birth to our daughter. Now that we have the daughter in our arms, we were bonding together. Due to the COVID restrictions and other factors, we decided to call the family members and teammates on zoom as they were congratulating the couple for their new baby.

They gave them some time to bond with their baby and started their journey as parents. Tyler was proud that he is now a mother to their baby. Not only that, Tatiana was the mini Duncan. Duncan Robinson bonds with the newborn as Tyler was resting on the bed. "Tati, let's have a bonding together until your mommy is fully rested," Tyler watched Duncan bond with their daughter and smiled at the sight of his boyfriend holding their little bundle. Next, Tyler starts doing the skin to skin contact as Tatiana was resting on her mother's chest. "You're a big girl aren't you?" Tyler chuckles when he realizes that she was nine pounds around birth.

Tyler Herro: How did your mommy Tyler give birth to a big baby? Mommy ate a lot huh? Mommy is sorry that he was doing it, but I was hungry.

Duncan Robinson: It's alright my love. You didn't know.

30 minutes later,

Erik Spoelstra and the midwife came over to the Herro-Robinson residence to give the baby a bath, but she would be crying for her mother. Tyler watched his daughter crying and would wanted to pick up the baby.

Erik Spoelstra: I know little girl, you want to be with your mommy, but you're almost done.

Midwife: it's alright Tati girl, you're almost done.

After they gave the baby a bath, she dresses her up in a pink onesie and put the beanie on her head, so that she doesn't get cold and even a nappy. Erik returns the baby back to its mother. Tyler cradles her on the back and said. "You're fine Tati-Poo. Mommy has you," She quieted down, her brown eyes had shone all of the surroundings.
