• please don't take any offense hereGermany POV:
I walked into EU's office for some questions. -(▀̿Ĺ̯▀̿ ̿)ᵏⁿᵒᶜᵏ ᵏⁿᵒᶜᵏ-, I waited until I heard a "Come in!" from EU. He gazed at me with kind-looking eyes, "Sir, may I ask a question?" I invoked in a low volume, "Sure! What is it?" he smiled, "Well, I've heard of some..." I said, "Reported cases of missing countries.". "Oh that?" he retorted with a cryptic glint creeping into his eyes, "I've left those to...someone else,". His voice went lower with a dash of terror when it came to 'someone else'.
"Alright thank you, sir. I was just inquiring," I trembled and left him be. I closed the door and went away. The way he spoke...it was unnerving and suspicious.
I left the room with a nervous chuckle and a quick exit. I strolled by Poland's office, he got a glimpse of me then he pretended to be asleep, he didn't want to see me.
I wish he would stop avoiding me. I went to my office and looked at a photo of me... and...my...family...?
Germany POV (Flashback):
It was the day.
East is leaving the house.
My Vather was giving him to my dad for a 'training session'
I wouldn't usually call him 'dad', my siblings and I would call him 'Soviet' instead.
He kept me because he needed money for the war and I was good at finance
"East?" I gasped
He was packed up and his eyes were filled with sadness
I...don't...want...him leaving...
"Don't leave me, East," I sniffed as I looked at him with tears
"I'll see you again, West, I promise," he said and pulled me in for an embrace
"I'll miss you," I said, hiccuping because I was crying
I hugged him back tightly as ever before letting go
"See you soon, West," he smiled cheerfully before getting into an automobile with Soviet and that was the last time I saw him alive{10 years later}
"East?" I gasped in horror as I ran to his bruised, weak body
Soviet stood there, unfazed, as if there was no dead body of one of his children in front of him but his face had a sign of grief.
I can't feel any life signs.
I shook him harder and hander by the second.
"EAST!"
Neither an answer nor a sound came from him...
"EAST!" I yelled again
I was sobbing hard now
"He's dead, Germany," Soviet said, "Don't even try."
There's no way he's dead, right?
No
A few minutes passed, no hope
"What did you do to my son!?," Vather yelled and looked like he was going to choke his husband, he then dragged him into a room.
I went to the backyard to get a shovel.
The screaming match of my fathers were deafening to the ears.
I could hear things like, "I TRIED!" And "IT'S YOUR FAULT MY SON IS DEAD, SOVIET!"
I carried my twin to the graveyard in my arms and I walked alongside the path with the shovel as tears ran down my face.
I slowly walked to a clear space in the graveyard to bury him
With every strike of my shovel brings back memories
Painful and happy ones
He makes me cry, makes me smile
He was my dear twin brother
East Germany...
He was the only one who understood me
He is always so...so patient and kind
But he was thrown to death by Soviet, what did he do to deserve that?Vather was in his room, getting drunk, murmuring and mourning things like: "Why did I let him go?", yelling his name throughout the house as he sat on the floor of his room for the past week.
I saw Soviet's bags all ready to go since he and Vather were divorcees.
My other siblings, were there too with their bags.
Every time Vather looked at Soviet, he would shout and curse at him for losing their son, or what he said, his son.
I won't get angry at him really.
It's because he is sad.
I've never seen him cry before.
I sat beside him sympathetically, resting my head on his shoulder as he held my hands and cried, saying East's name repeatedly, he was probably thinking I was east.
After all, we were twins.
Soon I heard the door downstairs slam shut, I saw my siblings lined up and marching to the train station.
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, all of them were going with Soviet.
Only Austria and Hungary remain, then.
