3rd POV:

Staring at the ceiling of his room, Germany replayed the pretty look on Poland face in his head as the thoughts and theories spilled into his conflicted mind.

"That look doesn't mean anything, right?"

"It's just a friendly glare, nothing more so go ahead and sleep."

"It's not like he said, 'Hey, Germany! I like you!'. Nah, it was him just looking at you,"

The German grunted in frustration and he tossed and turned in his bed like a pancake on a pad. He huffed at every thought that came after the other. Soon, his mind started to calm down a little and not long after, he was subconsciously sleeping, mumbling and yapping nonsense in his sleep.

"I'm sorry Princess Cheesecake, the Sausage fairy made me do it..." he mumbled as he shifted in his sleep with a grumbling stomach. (He's just hungry :) )

Hours tick by and the sun began to rise, casting a shimmering golden glow to the sky. The flowers in German's garden smiled as sunshine poured into the city like warm colors of paint.

Soon, the alarm rang loudly, as if it were screaming on the ochre desk beside Germany's bed. He huffed a little and reached out to the alarm, slamming it multiple times and put on his glasses, before drowsily sauntering into the comfort room, picking up his toothbrush and washing his face as he wondered why he was unusually hungry.

He then slid downstairs and took out his cereal box and carton of milk. As he ate, he scrolled through his phone. Scrolling, through the videos and pictures of his friends and siblings on Instagram, the bright light felt like his eyes were drinking liquor as he swiped through his phone.

The German marched to his bedroom and changed into his usual snow white blouse matched with a scarlet red tie and a pair of coal black pants. He then took his bag and flung it around his chest as he wore his raven black shoes and scurried outside with a sigh.

Sunshine shone in his ocean-blue eyes as he walked past the closed cafe, raising an eyebrow as he stared. Isn't Norway supposed to run the store today? He found Poland flying ahead with the sound of his wingbeats wafting through the air, his wings moving him through the air like a hot knife through butter. Germany hesitated a bit if he should catch up to his Pole.

He pulled up his cuff and shot a glare at his watch that showed 8:12 am. Germany pulled down the cuff and walked along the side walk with a deep sigh, glancing around his shoulder and surroundings occasionally.

The German flung the glass door open as he walked in eying his sister, Austria, as she wrote on her checklist. "Hallo, Österreich," he greeted the Austrian as he walked by and replied with "Guten morgen,". Germany tapped the elevator button and waited.

Germany POV:

I then proceeded to go to my office and caught a glance at Poland entering Denmarks's office, curiosity crept in as I took a step towards him but then I shook the feeling off and continued to my own office.

I did my work with a train of thoughts from last night passing through my mind. Should I ask EU about the cases? Or should we just let the police handle it? Maybe it was all a big misunderstanding and they went somewhere like a vacation? But that doesn't make any sense, does it?

I was more involved in my own questions than work, that I almost sent some documents to my sister. I instantly canceled it as soon as I realized, heaving a sigh and looking up again to work.

As I typed away on my keyboard, I caught a glance of Poland through my office door, sauntering back to his office as he shoot a peek at me. I gave him a peek of my own and he looked away before shuffling off past my office.

I then noticed a lot of notifications from the news at the bottom of the screen of my computer.

"Hmmmm..."

I slid the mouse across my mouse pad and clicked it. A new tab flashed on my screen and several cases of missing countries popped up, and many more were awaiting further down.

I scrolled deeper and all had the 3 words in each article's title: MISSING COUNTRY CASE. The more I scrolled through, the higher my suspicions gone. Sensibly, EU should've given us these a long time ago.

Should I go ask EU about them? Either I am just paranoid or there is something going on within the internals of the building.
