Chapter 10

"Can I take you out later?" he whispered.

You felt your cheeks heat up and the warm feeling in your stomach. "Uh- uh-" you stuttered and looked down, fidgeting with your fingers a little. "S-sure" you mumbled and nodded a bit. Mikey's eyes lit up for a moment but nobody could see that. Not even you could see it this time. He put his hand on your thigh again and rubbed in gently.

"Would you like to change before that or can we just go right away?" he asked then and looked at you again. You thought for a moment, looked at yourself and shook your head a bit. "No I don't want to change..if I look presentable to go out wih Bonten's Boss" You chuckled.

"Of course, but you always look beautiful" the silver haired male replied and nodded. His words made you blush even more and you had to turn your head away from him. He made you feel so happy and warm. The warmth..a feeling you missed for so long. 

Kokonoi shook his head with a laugh and got out of the car. "I will take your assignments and mission for today then" He said and Mikey nodded. "Thank you koko" he mumbled, since you gave him a scolding look. He normally never said thank you and you knew that already. So you would make him say it. The white haired male was surprised by that and his eyes widen. He never heard his Boss say thank you before. She really changes him, he thought to himself.

Kokonoi nodded and went back into their headquater, while Mikey and you made your way to somewhere else. "Is there any specific place you'd like to visit? Before I take you out for dinner?" He asked and looked at you with his obsidian eyes. You thought about it for a moment and sighed, shaking the thought off quickly. "hey tell me what you are thinking. And even if you want to fly to Paris now..we will go there right away" he said and put his cold pale fingers under your chin to make you look at him.

"I know and you would book a 5 star hotel and get a private plane" you said and chuckled. He looked at you confused since it was normal for him to do that "Yeah-?" he said. You shook your head with a chuckle and he loved hearing you laugh like that. "No it's something different... something more easier" You said and sighed. "Then why don't we do it? It would make you happy, right?" he asked and pulled your face closer.

"I would...like to visit the orphanage in my neighborhood..you could meet the kids there" You mumbled and his eyes widenend a little. You noticed his expression and shook your head. "I know it's a stupid idea, forget it again. We can go for a walk in a park or something" You said and looked at him. The silver haired male thought about it for a moment and the told the driver the address of the orphanage. The man nodded and started driving there quietly.

Now it was your turn to widen your eyes. "Mikey you don't have to.." you said quickly. He shook his head and showed you the tiny smile you loved so much. "It would make you happy..and I want to get more insights in your life" he said and rubbed your cheek. "Okay then..please try to show some warmth towards the children. I know how you are, but still.." you mumbled and he nodded. He knew what you meant and wanted to try his best fro you.

After a while they arrived and the driver stopped the car infront of the building. Mikey noticed that it wasn't on the rich side of town. It looked pretty worn down and poor. He wrapped a scarf around his neck so nobody would see his bonten tattoo. Even nobody knew their faces, their tattoos were known everywhere. He took your hand and left the car with you.

You smiled softly and walked into the backyard with Mikey, still holding his hand. Two children were running to you immediately and laughed, hugging your legs. "Y/N!!!!" they yelled excited and you leaned down and hugged them. "I missed you two" you said and they nodded a bit. Then they stared up at the silver haired male next to you. "Who is this???" the asked curiously.

"I'm Manjiro..but you can call me Mikey" he said and squatted infront of them. He didn't even know why he told them his real name, he didn't use his full name in a while now. Their eyes sparkled since they always loved to get a visitor. "Come on it's rude if you don't introduce yourself aswell" you said and playfully hit their heads a bit.
