Elora tossed and turned in her bed all night, she couldn't stop thinking about the sheer embarrassment she had felt that day, the day she got kicked out of her boarding school.

Elora had just moved back from a boarding school in Australia, she had been sent there because of her bad behaviour at home. Which consisted of her sneaking out, smoking and such behaviours. Safe to say her mum wasn't impressed when she caught Elora smoking in their garden when she thought she was home alone.

Whilst Elora was attending the boarding school, she ended up getting into quite a bit of trouble during her second year, falling back into old habits. This is why she was forced to move back to Moordale to be with her mother and twin sister.

Her twin sister Aimee, was the sweetest person you could ever meet. Aimee was 2 minutes older than Elora but it didn't change anything. Elora adored her twin sister in every way. She looked up to her, so when she was sent to live in Australia it was bittersweet for the both of them.

Although Elora had only spent two years away from home, she had been aching to return the entire time.

When Aimee heard the news of Elora moving back home she was quite excited to see her sister again.

"Now Elora, you must be on your best behaviour, there is nowhere else we can send you" Elora's mother looked at her sternly. Elora just nodded and looked down nervously.

As they approached the house the car came to a halt and Elora undid her seatbelt, opening the car door carefully.

She picked up her bags from the boot of the car and began walking to the front door where Aimee was standing.

"Elora!" Aimee squealed excitedly. Elora smiled although she was still tired from the car trip.

"Aimee, how have you been?" she questioned as she brought the girl in for a hug.

Elora's POV

Today was my fresh start. The first day of the new school year. I was now going into 6th form at Moordale Secondary School with my sister. It wasn't like id never been to Moordale before. Christ, Id been living in Moordale my whole life up until being sent to Australia. So I knew most of the people that were going to be at school, but who knows maybe they are some new people.

I peered over at my clock which was sitting on my bedside table and saw that it was 7:30am. Somehow I woke up on time.

All of a sudden, Aimee came bursting through the door to tell me to get ready.

Why is she so excited for school? I wondered to myself.

Oh yeah, it's because she's 'popular' . I rolled her eyes, well aware that no one could actually see me.

Eventually I got up and put on a very basic outfit of a white t-shirt and some blue ripped jeans. Not really caring if they had changed the dress code since I left. Not like I'd followed it in the first place whoops.

I tied my hair up in a messy ponytail before glancing at myself in my mirror.

"Good enough" I whispered to myself and walked downstairs to meet Aimee in the kitchen for breakfast.

After Aimee and I were finished getting ready we walked to the bus stop.

---------------

Once at school, we approached the large entrance when we both heard someone calling Aimee's name.

"Aimee, over here!" A girl with straight brown hair and quite a fancy outfit said.

"That's Ruby, I'll see you later okay?" Aimee said quickly before ditching me.

Great.. I thought as I began looking for the front office.

I knocked.. and waited.. and finally the door was opened to reveal an older woman.

"Hello, I'm Elora Gibbs. I'm here for my schedule" I spoke, feeling a bit out of place but I smiled as the lady nodded and searched through her drawers of student files.

"Ah, yes Gibbs. Here you go" She handed the schedule to me and went back to her work, signalling that I should leave now.

---------

I was almost to my first class of the day when I rounded the corner and slammed into someone.

"Are you a complete moron?" I heard as I tried to apologise.

"No.." I said trailing off as I felt my face heating up from pure embarrassment.

"That was a rhetorical question" The girl said harshly as she began to pick up her papers that were now scattered all over the floor.

I noticed the scattered papers and tried to help the girl.

"Don't touch my shit." The girl said beforeI decided fuck her papers.

"I was just trying to help." I said in defence as I stood up.

"Don't." I finally looked at the girl.

She had bleached blonde hair with the ends dip dyed pink. She had harsh brown eyes and sharp eyebrows. I noticed how the girl towered over me, not that I was short.. (5'3) but still, this girl had to be at least 5'7.

She looked really familiar.. but where from? Did I know her before I left?

A male voice was heard behind us which caused me to stop staring at the girl (whoops).

"Guys, you do know you're not supposed to run in the hallways?" Head-boy Jackson said as he reached into his pocket to retrieve a notepad.

"It was my fault," The girl said quickly, probably wanting me to fuck off.

I opened my mouth to speak but was cut off by the taller girl.

"Go on, fuck off snowflake."

yep, guessed it.

I took a step back and turned to walk away when I heard a random jock pipe up.

"Nice rack Wiley" he said in a joking tone.

I turned around when I heard this comment, feeling like I recognised the name..

"Say that again." The girl was now facing the idiotic boy.

"I said nice r-"

But he was cut off by her kneeing him in the crotch, (deserved).

I was taken aback but smiled as she stormed off leaving the boy curled up on the ground.

What a weird first day.. and I just got here.
