﹕⌗ CHOSO ╱ CHAPTER 13 脹相 ꒱࿔
love isn't enough ✸ obsession is enough─────────────────────────────
TO PUT IT MIDLY. . . the drive home was a little unpleasant. "you seem to be better." shoko starts as she keeps her eyes on the road, glancing at her best friend every now. there was a brief silence while (y/n) curiously watched passersby's via the car window.
"explain what you mean." when she does speak out at last, she turns to see her best friend driving her home. "i've been feeling great the past couple of weeks, not even great, happy"
shoko furrowed her brows in bewilderment at her response. "don't play with me, (y/n), i know how far you went to find that man—it was almost to the point of obsession."
(y/n) slaps her forehead, "not this conversation again," with a deep groan, she folds her arms and leans back against the car seat.
"yes, we're having this discussion once more, is therapy even helping you at all?" shoko asks in a slightly harsh tone, then quickly casts a fleeting glance at (y/n).
"you don't realize how much it's helping me." (y/n) replies and shrugs "i'm fine now; it was just a brief period of obsession."
"are you over that one guy?" shoko says, squinting her eyes suspiciously and furrowing her brows.
"yeah, i'm not interested in him anymore." as shoko drops her friend off at home, (y/n) smiles. "thank you; i'll speak with you later." she walks into her newly furnished apartment and sets her belongings down before going to her room.
she turns on the lights and immediately notices that her wall is covered in all of the photos she had taken of choso. "i'm back home, handsome."
(y/n) laughs to herself and looks at the thumb-stacked pictures on the wall. she kisses one of them, saying, "oh, i love you so much, choso" her gaze wanders around her room, taking in the numerous photos strewn on the wall and all over the carpet.
"let's finish the photo album." she begins to speak to herself and sits on the carpet before gluing the picture on her picture book and writing down with a red sharpie.
'the love of my life ♡'
(y/n) had spent the previous few minutes gluing and writing on her picture book. "should i put this one of him in his home or him working?" she laughed while enjoying the moment.
once the photo album is finished, she places it on the little table and creates an altar for her partner. completed with flowers, candles, and a picture frame of him. "it's time for a lunch break."
she makes a lunch for herself in the kitchen, munching on the sandwich while browsing through her camera roll, which is full with images of choso.
a notice appears on her phone informing her that there have been some movements at choso's residence. he had no idea that (y/n) had linked her phone to his house's doorbell camera.
