love isn't enough ✸ obsession is enough─────────────────────────────
choso was an imitating person, to say the least. his emotionless expression made it difficult for anyone to gaze at him for a moment, including women, even though he manages to have infrequent hookups with plenty.
his looks did wonders.
he has been watching her all morning, taking boxes out of the moving van and into the new home before finally speaking up "hello, are you the new neighbor?"
"oh" (y/n) says, "yes, i am" she sets the boxes on the front door of her house and turns to face the tall man who is standing close to her porch.
"my name is choso, and i'm thrilled to have you as a neighbor! please stop by whenever you need any help" he speaks in a cordial manner, but there's something off about him; it sounds like a lie.
he was about to crack a small joke when all of a sudden, choso casts a quick glance to the left and right before flashing a mischievous smile once again, his thoughts were no good.
she's the next victim, he was sure of it.
(y/n) tilts her head, her eyebrows knitted with confusion "what's with that look?"
"oh, i apologize; please forgive me! you simply look fragile and helpless" choso grinned as he walked slowly in the direction of (y/n) and leaned against the wall with his left hand on his hip.
as his face drew closer to her, she could see what he was contemplating. "very petite and. . . someone can easily kidnap you."
(y/n) slowly steps away from him as her eyes widen in shock and she utters, "what the hell?!"
she saw his pupils take on the shape of a heart just as he said that. choso suddenly drew nearer and began to caress her cheek, his hands are cold and his touch feels menacing.
choso grins once more as he stares into her eyes and down at her lips. she realizes he is trying to give her some bad ideas "i think we are going to have fun, what do you say... pretty lady?"
she pushes his hand away from her cheek and narrows her brown eyes "get away you creep!"
"i'll leave if you want me to..." he smirks and takes one step back while trying to compose himself. he looks at her with a cold and calculative smile "but before that.... i need you to do something for me."
choso reaches into his back pocket to take out his business card, he extend it to out to her, still with the same cold smile.
"okay, but leave right now!" she commands, grabbing his business card from his fingers.
"alright, but allow me to ask you one more question" he hunches over to face her as his lips curve into an evil smirk "are you afraid of me?"
(y/n) leans away from him while once more furrowing her brows, "no." she mutters softly
choso grinned and leaned in closer, his cold, calculated eyes are fixed on her "what if i do this?"
then all of a sudden, he takes hold of her chin and pulls her face into his - his cold touch and breath were palpable. (y/n) widens her eyes as choso then crouched down to her level and whispers "you're such a bad liar"
he released (y/n)'s face from his fingers as he slowly walked away. choso didn't look like the man who smiled from a few minutes before, he looks scary and cold.
choso glances at her with the same calculating eyes and gave her a menacing smile before turning away. suddenly she heard the man laugh when he got home, his laughter felt cold and menacing.
(y/n) lets out a heavy sigh as she makes an effort to calm herself down, she then casts a quick glance down at the business card choso handed her "he's a mechanic?" she thinks to herself.
she rolls her eyes and continues to arrange the moving boxes in her new house. but during the time she had the impression that someone was keeping an eye on her the entire time.
(y/n) scans the area to see if anyone is nearby but instead notices choso standing in front of his house window and stares right at her. he grins devilishly and draws the curtains closed.
a chill runs down her spine as goosebumps appear all over her body. (y/n) quickly unloads the final few moving boxes and closes the door behind her. even in her new home, which was meant to be a secure place for her, she experienced an unusual sense of unease.
(y/n) didn't want to take any chances with choso showing up at her window, so she starts to put the curtains and pull them closed, it gave her a little bit of peace of mind. in an effort to make her home cozier, she begins to decorate the area.
she finally completed furnishing the living room with necessities just as fall was about to arrive. just as (y/n) sat down on the chair to take a break an engine could be heard revving outside.
(y/n) sneaks a peek out the window and observes choso leaving his driveway on his motorcycle after revving it briefly. he then quickly disappears into the eerie night and into the unknown.
knowing he wasn't around to frighten her any longer gave her a sense of relief. (y/n) starts her nighttime routine and sets her bed down on the living room floor as she looks up at the ceiling.
her thoughts were racing from the memories earlier today. is he always like that? does he treat others like that? why was he acting so oddly?
before you know it, her eyes slowly close as she takes in sounds of the crickets outside her home, the comforting full moon, and the sound of a motorcycle revving loudly as it always does.
instantly her eyes shot open, he's back. . .
