Ivory's POV
I dropped the huge box of decorations I was carrying, down on the floor, sighing in relief "Why do I have to carry the heavy boxes?"
"Because I can't. And you're stronger than me." Elena smiled cheekily at me
"Haha. Very funny." I rolled my eyes
"Ivy, quit complaining and go introduce yourself to our new neighbours upstairs." my dad put down the boxes and handed me a smaller box
"What's this?" I took the pink, ribbon wrapped box.
"It's macarons, your mom baked them for our neighbours. You still have alot of those to hand out so you might wanna hurry up and get here before dinner."
"Do I have to?" I whined
"Yes you do, Ivorina. We want to make a good first impression on our new neighbours."
"Fiiine." I groaned before walking out the door begrudgingly.
I pressed the elevator button and the doors opened, I stepped in and pressed a button.
The doors opened to reveal a huge penthouse, there was a kid running everywhere and a red-headed woman trying to chase him.
"LUKE, GET BACK HERE!" the woman continued chasing him around as the boy she was chasing ran to a different room
A dark skinned girl walked in the living room and her expression changed when she saw me "Who are you?"
"Uh..Ivory Martinez. My family and I just moved in here, I live downstairs.."
"Wait!" the red-headed woman stopped in her tracks as she walked up to me "Martinez?" she looked at me up and down "Wearing designer clothes.." her eyes widened "Is your dad Diego Martinez!?"
"Erm..yeah?"
A blonde, teenage girl ran in the room "I heard Diego Martinez's name, what's going on!?"
"Her dad is Diego Martinez!" the dark skinned girl exclaimed
The blonde girl scoffed "No way!" she stared at me in amazement
"I love your dad's movies! Especially Ascenders: Eternal War!" The red-headed girl exclaimed
