The life of Katie Gardner wasn't that exciting. My typical run of the mill day consisted of me waking up, going to school, and occasionally try not to get killed. Not that exciting, right? My day started with me walking down the hallways of Reggis high when my best friends Layla, Cher, and Jo caught up to me.

Layla ran up to me, her long brown hair was bouncing side to side in her pony tail and her usually tired brown eyes were filled with excitement.

"Katie Katie Katie!!Have you played that new game oreo? " Layla asked.

" No... and last I heard oreo was a cookie not a game."

" No silly, its this--- " Jo was swiftly interrupted by cher, and by the look in Jo's eyes, she wasn't having it.

" OMG how have you not heard of this game? like every ones playing it " Cher interrupted.

" Thanks, it's not like I was talking Cher" Jo chimed in as her eyes rolled back in annoyance.

Cher threw her hand up ignoring Jo's comment before continuing on, " Anyway, It's this game were two people play rock paper scissors and then whoever wins gets to tell the other person who they have to ask out and if they say yes, you give them a time limit of how long you have to date them for ." Cher explained. "

" No offence but that seems really stupid, childish almost. " I answered.

" Yeah of course it is. But what else do we have to distract ourself with? And not to mention its funny! the other day Brooke Weatherstone had to ask out Keelen Bies " Layla smirked.

" Seriously? I don't think I would've have the guts to even talk to her much less ask her out. My condolonces to the Keelen." This was a shocker to me. Brooke Weatherstone was Regis's most popular girl and Keelen Bies was the schools most nerdiest person ever.

Curisoity got to me and I asked Cher, " Well what did he say?"

All three of them yelled in unision " YES!! ". Their loud reaction caused a couple of students passing by to look our way.

" Ok guys we don't have to be so loud about it". I chimed in. " That's also really disturbing, so how long does she have to date him for?" I asked.

Cher responded " That's the best part her, friends says she has to stay with him for a month. "

" Well that's going to be one hell of a month for her " I said. "Anyways I better get going I'm going to be late for biology. " I waved goodbye to the three girls and turned the corner, walking off into my next class.

If this story seems written a little weird and doesn't match up at times I am sorry! Im currently in the middle of re-vamping it and trying to salvage whats left. I started this story in 7th grade and finished it in 8th. I'm currently now half way through college and I've decided to rewrite it because my 7th grade writing skills horrify me and I'm embarrassed lol. I also still really love the Percy Jackson series and if I have contributed to writing fanficition I want it to at least be good so others can enjoy. The plot I came up with in middle school was based off a game that happened my middle school year hence why it is very childish. Im keeping the main plot but I am going to be tweaking a few things here and there so very sorry if its confusing at times. Im not rewriting them in order, I know it would be easier and less confusing however I seem to get inspiration to rewrite them by reading the not as well written chapters in my personal opinion. It will be done before this summer though so it wont be for long , sorry for this long rant but Thank you to all those who have read, its still makes me so happy seeing people commenting to this day over something I did years ago.I hope everyone has stayed safe during this pandemic and heres to making the most of this year:)
