Chapter 13 : Something

Seorin woke up to the bright sunlight managing to shine in her room, even with her blinds and curtains. On a second thought, Seorin forgot to close them last night, and the curtains were half-way open. Argh, why did Luhan make it so early?! She rubbed her eyes with her arms.

She checked her Samsung phone that was as cold as a ice cube because of the almost-winter weather, for the time. Not almost blinded by its blinding light this time, because of the annoying sun pouring to her room.

Groggily, Seorin slumped on her way to the bathroom, but knocked over a stack of school books on her desk along the way. "Aish." Seorin hastily whispered, but left the books on the floor for a later clean up.

Seorin was still sleepy while she walked on the hallway, but snapped a hundred percent awake when she remember that she didn't call Seoyeon to remind her of today. "Oh.." She groaned whilst scratching the back of her head, as she made a U turn in her path that went back to her room, sliding on the hard wooden floor instead of actually taking steps with her wooly socks.

Seorin clicked Seoyeon's contact, and waited for her to answer. "What the penguins!" Was the first thing she heard. Since when did she talk like that..?

"Who are you, and what have you done with Seorin? The real Seorin would have been sleeping at this hour!" Her voice sounded like it was dripping with half sarcasm; half mockery.

"Relax unnie," Seorin clamped her phone with her shoulder against her ear, as she picked up her school books,"I forgot you ask you to come today at 8 o' clock to do the tasks Kang seonsasengnim assigned us, with Luhan."

"Ahh," Seoyeon said, leaning back into her wheeled, leather chair as she heard Seorin's response,"But it's halmoni's birthday today. I'm spending the whole day at her house in Cheon-an." She sat back up in her seat.

"Aigoo, really? Tell her I said happy birthday. I guess I'll have to go without you, since tommorrow I have something already planned too." Seorin said with a surprised tone,"Oh yeah, buy lots of chestnut cookies for me!"

"Ha, just for you Rinnie! But I'll won't exactly be having fun if I don't have a friend along tommorrow.." Seoyeon sighed,"Oh!" Seorin heard a sound of fingers snapping,"Is Sehun free tommorrow?"

"Oppa?" She raised an eyebrow, pausing the action of picking up her school books. Probably not, he is a trainee after all. But.. what about that time we went to lottle world? That was on a weekend.. "Mm. A possibility. I'll ask him later." Seorin agreed, starting her action again.

"Kmowao! I have to go now, bye!" "Bye, unnie." She hung up.

...
Park. Early Morning.

Luhan checked his watch, its smudgy glass surface glaring sunlight as he ran his index finger across it. 7:59 AM. He sighed through his nose. Where is she?
Unintentionally, his reflexes made his foot tap on the playground material, and his ruffling his hair.

Out of the corner of her eye, Seorin spotted her frustrated friend. She jogged up to him, transporting loose strands of hair to the side of her face. "I'm here!" She said with her out of breath voice, and body gasping for air. Maybe I should exercise more. Little did they know, that the clock turned exactly eight o' clock as she reached him.

"Aigoo, are you okay?" Luhan rushed even more near her. "Ye-Yeah.." Seorin sucked in a big breath of air,"Let's start."

1. Spend time at a park.

"Oh! I guess you really planned this out.." She laughed awkwardly,"I suppose he won't really know if we just take a picture and leave." "True." Luhan agreed, whipping out his phone at the ready,"Lean in."
