"So she apparently has no idea who you are," the doctor explained to Charles and Sebastian who were standing outside Emilie's hospital room.

Emilie had been quickly admitted into the hospital and had gotten a whole bunch of tests. Nothing major had been impacted other than the fact that she had a concussion that might have been the reason she forgot who Charles was.

"But that's because of the concussion right?" Charles asked, crossing his hands over his chest.

"Could be, but it would be too soon to know. She had forgotten where she was at when she first woke up. Could mean that she might have forgotten you. We should know for sure in about two weeks. By that time the concussion should resolve by then, if she has no idea who you are after that. Well..." the doctor explained.

"Well what?" Charles asked.

"Well then that means she completely forgot who you are."

"Why him only? That's her boyfriend of five years. They have known each other since they were five. How can she forget him out of everyone?" Sebastian questioned, looking and sounding as confused as Charles.

"The brain is a complicated thing that we still cannot fully comprehend."

"This is such bullshit," Charles examined, turning his back to the doctor and making his way to the hall.

"You can help her remember you,"the doctor said, stopping Charles in his tracks.

"What?" Charles asked making his way back to the doctor. "How do I do that?"

"The only way is by helping her remember everything you guys went through. Just make sure not to rush it. You can scare her and make her brain refuse to remember you."

"When do I start helping her remember?"

"Within these two weeks as the concussion heals reintroduce yourself and give little hints about your guys' past. Start off with the very first time you both met and then go from there."

"I can help with that," Sebastian input. He knows how much the two care for each other. Even if at the moment Emilie had no idea who Charles was.

"For now she is free to go. My suggestion is to bring all those she is close with so that she brings to regain her memory," the doctor began to explain. "She needs to be surrounded by those she might already be familiar with so that they can reintroduce you to her."

"Great, you go ahead and get her situated to go, Sebas. I'll go call everyone to meet up at the hotel," Charles said, taking out his phone and beginning to make phone calls.

Walking into the room Sebastian sat on the edge of the bed grabbing a hold of his daughters hand. "Hey kiddo, how you feeling?"

"I'm feeling good. Who was that guy you were talking with? Why did he call me mon amour on the track?"

"Let's not worry about that right now kiddo," her father distracted her. "The doctor said you're good to go home and I know there are some people waiting for you at the hotel."
