"You'll be out for two weeks. Liam Lawson will race for you before you come back," Sebastian explained as he brought Emilie her morning tea.

"Sound good. I really need the rest," the young girl smiled. "You know what I need even more to go home and rest there."

"Vámonos," Carlos's voice rang through the hotel room. Peaking through the hallway entrance he smiled and lifted his arms, showcasing a small bag. [Let's go]

"Carlitos!" Emilie cheered.

"Good morning, nena," he smiled, placing a kiss on her forehead. "Good morning p, Sebas," he smiled shaking the older man's hand.

"Sainz," Sebastian said, looking at him carefully. Sebastian did not know what Charles and Carlos had agreed to.

"What's in the bag?" Emilie asked, sitting up even more in her bed, clearly interested in the white bag.

"It's breakfast," Carlos smiled making his way back to the girl. Sitting next to Emilie he began to take out the croissants.

"Sainz," Sebastian spoke up, "a word," he said, gesturing to the living area.

"I'll be right back nena," he said before he made his way into the room next door with Sebas. Once again he was met with a smack in the back of his head, "what the hell?!" He whisper shouted.

"What the hell you!" Sebastian said in the same tone, careful not to be too loud in case Emilie heard them. "That's Charles' girlfriend! My son-in-laws girlfriend! MY DAUGHTER!"

"Yeah but she doesn't know that, does she, Sebas?" Carlos said, "She has no idea who Charles is."

"That doesn't mean you can go in and steal her," Sebas defended.

"I'm not stealing her!" Carlos said, raising his hands in the air dramatically, "I'm going to help Charles."

"How? By making her fall in love with you?!"

"No, I'm going to guide her in remembering Charles. Right now she's more comfort with me than him, or anyone else for that matter. We need to take advantage of that."

"And Charles knows this?" Sebas said, sounding a bit more calm.

"Yes, we went over it last night after we left- Ouch! What was that for?!" Carlos shrieked as he rubbed his head once again.

"Next time give me a heads up!"

"Carlos? Papa?" Emilie asked as she peaked through door.

"What's up kiddo?" Her father asked.

"Am I really going home?"

"Of course, nena. Vamos," Carlos smiled, as he guided her back into her room to help her pack.

Looking out the window of Carlo's' private jet Emilie suddenly spoke up, "So Charles."

"What about Charles?" Carlos responded rather loudly and quickly.

Startled by his reaction, the girl sat back slightly furrowing her eyebrows slightly.

"I mean," Carlos coughed, noting her reaction, "What do you want to know about him?"

"How did you meet him?"

"Well, I met him way before I joined Ferrari two years ago. I see him more than my own family," he laughed.

"You both close?"

"Practically brothers. Love like brothers, compete like brothers."

"He seems cool," the girl shrugged.

"You think so?"

"Yeah, but not as cool as you,"  she smirked as she winked at the Spaniard.

"You should get to know him. I think he's cooler than me, most people do. Especially his girlfriend."

"He has a girlfriend?" Curiosity filling her eyes subtlety. Straightening her posture, a sense of slight heartbreak and nostalgia over took her. She shook it off, not understanding its presence or significance.

"More or less?" Carlos said, scratching his head, looking everywhere but the girl in front of him. Titling her head, Carlos knew she wanted him to explain more in his response. "It's a long story, nena."

"We have time," she responded, not taking no for an answer.
