matt pov:
i went to the mall with my brothers and i knew my and y/ns 10 months was coming up. nick and chris came along to help me find something to get her. "omg i have an idea" i said outloud. "what" they say. "lego flowers, they last longer" i say looking for the lego store. my eyes look everywhere until i see the bright yellow store. i practically sprint over there and see flowers. "perfect" i whispered. "last stop, a crystal store" i said. "atleast your not going above and beyond like last time" chris mumbled. "shut up chris, atleast i have a girlfriend" i scoffed. "okay guys enough" nick said in between us. i ended up  buying a flower tree of rose quartz.

i arrive home and call up y/n to come over. "okay she's on the way everyone out there kitchen" i say. "matt u don't own the fuckin house" nick sassed. "okay but i need the kitchen so out" i said puddling then to their stairs.

15 minutes go by and i hear my door knock.

y/n pov:
i waited outside with my gift behind my back. i hear footsteps running around and then i see the one and only matt open the door. "hi baby" i say. "hi love" he said brining me into a hug. "happy 10  months babe" matt said resting his head on my shoulder. "happy 10 months" i said back pulling, " i got u a little something as always" i say. "ooo" he said giggling.  i pulled out a card and a little box on top. i gave it to him and he kissed me on the cheek thanking me. "okay come in now, but before u come in close ur eyes" he said. "matt can we go up the stairs and then i close my eyes" i said. "okay valid" he says. we go in and once we reach the top he covers my eyes with his hand.

"okay open" he says. i open my eyes and see a candle lit up with a box rapped in happy birthday rapping, a card, and a crystal tree. "babe.." i said looking at him in awe. his face was beat red as i walked to the gifts. "cards last bc i'm going to cry and i don't wanna ruin my makeup" i said truthfully. he laughed and shook his head. i unwrapped it and see lego flowers. "babe i'm gonna cry" i said hands covering my face. "wait don't cry" he said putting his hands around my waist.  "this is so cute and sweet baby, i love you thank u" i say pulling him into a tight hug. "anytime, i love u more, and plus we can build it together" he says kissing my temple. "now open mine" i say grinning.

He kissed my cheek and then opened the little box. it was a bracelet that had a little heart charm where if u looked into it, it was a picture. "look into the hole" i said pointing. he side eyed me, "matt" i said playfully annoyed.  i smacked his arm playfully, then he proceeded to look into the hole. "awww" he said. It was a picture of his favorite picture of us, us at a fair kissing each-other with beautiful lights all around. "i remember we had to force nick to take this
picture" he giggled. "i think he almost threw up" i added. we laughed and he thanked me kissing me. "let's build these legos" i say. he nodded and lit a candle up. we sat on the table adjusting everything.

2 hours have passed by and soft music has been playing in the background, our flower bouquet almost done. "my fingers are throbbing" he whined. "we're almost done" i say determined to finish it. "can i read the card" he asked starting at the cards on the table. "yeah sure" i say. he grabbed it and opened the card. he scanned through and i examined his expression while reading. "your sweet y/n" he said eyes glossy. "awe" i said sitting scooting to sit beside him. he pulled me into his lap and hugged me like a sloth would. "i love you" he said stuffing his face into my neck. "your so red right now" i said rubbing my hands through his hair.

"i'll read mine" i say. i leaned up and grabbed mine as he still hugged me. i opened it and scanned through reading it. "i love you matt, im gonna cry this is so cute" i say a tear running down. he looks up and his eyes were full of admiration, and so was mine. i could look at his face for hours. he was so pretty. he cups my face and his thumb wipes my tear. "wanna finish the legos tomorrow morning" he said softly. i nodded. he stood up holding me. his hands adjusting to my thighs. we walked over to the room and he laid me down and crawled on top of me. giggling he slipped his hands under my hoodie and hugged me. i could feel his cold hands touch my warm body.  i rubbed his back as his head was on my chest. i threw the blanket on top of us, rubbing his back now.  "i could stay like this forever" he mumbled tiredly. "i could too" i said kissing the top of his head. i took and picture of us and posted on instagram with the title " 10 months with this pretty boy <3" and proceeded to take a nap with him.
