HADLEY WAS NERVOUS AS SHE PULLED UP TO GRAYBILL HOUSE THAT EVENING. The building was infamous in the town for being haunted. Of course, she did not believe it, but she she what was waiting for her at the challenge. It happened every year.

She joined the circle of people, and she was relieved when she realized that they were not waiting on her. There were still a couple of stragglers that arrived moments later. Diggins looks around, making sure they had everyone before he started.

"Congratulations to you all for completing the challenge at Spurlock's ranch," he told them, and Hadley's eyes widened when she realized that that was the last challenge they had done. It felt like forever ago. "Up until now, you've been competitors, but tonight, you become enemies."

Summer leaned in, shrugging and grinning as she added, "It is Panic tradition to screw each other at the Graybill House challenge." Hadley was a bit confused because almost everything Summer said sounded sarcastic, but maybe that was just her personality.

"And we all came for that reason," Ray joked. There were scattered chuckles, and the Alden girl had to bring her hand up to her mouth so that no one could see that she was giggling as well. He grinned when he saw that he had made her laugh, though.

"Rules are simple. You guys stay inside till we come and get you," Diggins explained, flipping a top hat onto his head as his voice got slightly deeper. "Players' points will be deducted when you submit proof of them being scared shitless. For tonight and tonight only, keep those cameras on."

Summer's top billowed in the wind as she continued for her partner. "Sabotage is highly encouraged. As a reminder, Heather is still in the lead with 200 points. Dodge and Hadley are closing up the gap at 175. Everyone else is holding up at 150. And last but not least, there is a 50-point bonus for whoever can solve the riddles in the blood."

"Uh, what do you — what do you mean, 'in the blood'?" Drew Santiago questioned, and a couple of other people nodded along with slightly concerned expressions at her words.

She shrugged, "Blood always tells."

"Good luck, players," Diggins said, and they took that as their cue to enter the house. Dodge led the way into the building, shining his light on everything in sight and searching for any kind of clues.
