Katsuki tries to get up still feeling weak but manages to get off the table onto his feet.
Katsuki: “y-your alive?”
Izuku: “yep”
Katsuki: “and your that vigilante”
Izuku: “yeah”
As Katsuki let his emotions sink in he tries to take a swing at Izuku only for him to effortly duck under his arm causing Katsuki to stumble forward table into a table he turns back towards Izuku
Izuku: “take it easy Katsuki you were poisoned”
Katsuki: “You son of a bitch!!”
He tries to punch him again only for Izuku to catch his arm turning round before pushing him back to the table unable to keep fighting Katsuki leaned against the table holding his table.
Katsuki: “did you lost your mind over those years”
Izuku: “found a couple things”
Katsuki: “like what archery classes?”
Izuku: “clarity…Hosu is dying it’s been poisoned by a criminal elite who don’t care who they hurt as long as they maintain wealth and power”
Katsuki: “And what are you going to do, take them all down by yourself?”
Izuku: “if i have to”
Katsuki: “what happened to wanting to be a hero or your family”
Izuku: “they'll be fine and sacrificing everything i want for the good of others isn't that what a hero does”
Katsuki: “...your not a hero…your a villain and a murder”
Katsuki gets up still holding his shoulder before leaving the bunker. Izuku takes a deep breath taking in what he had done before sitting back at his computer getting back to work
Five years ago
Izuku was sitting in the cave looking at a picture of him and his mom his attention was drawn from the the photo to his the man who reentered the cave holding two wooden cages with a bird in each cage he places one in front of him
Man: “shengcun [survive]”
He looked at him confused still not being able to understand him
Izuku: “What am I supposed to do with that?”
Man: “shengcun [ survive]”
Izuku: “Does that mean bird?”
The man points at the bird
Man: “shengcun! [survive!]”
Izuku: “I don't speak chinese!!”
Frustrated, the man pulled out his knife before going over to the other bird, taking it out of the cage. killing it without a hit of hesitation.
Back to present
Izuku was still in his bunker he looks over the news finding a report on a man who has apparently killed his wife
Reporter: “there were no signs of forced entry or any evidence of a struggle but hours later the police found the bloodstained kitchen knife in the trunk of her husband's car forensic analysis verified the husband's finger prints on the blade despide the only growing list of evidence Kaito continues to deny the charges”
The news switches to Kaito being interviewed in an interrogation room
Kaito: “camille was everything to me i couldn't kill her anymore than i could kill myself i would never take my daughters mother from her”
