Izuku and Katsuki were in the bunker sparring with metal escrima sticks Izuku was shirtless exposing his scars while Katsuki wore a black tank top as they hit each other's sticks until Katsuki quickly swung at Izuku only for him to lean back dodging the swing.
Izuku: “anchor your rear hand Katsuki come on”
Katsuki: “don't tell me what to do nerd!!”
They start hitting their sticks against each other again in a steady pace until Izuku quickly sped up hitting Katsuki across the face enough to disorient him for a second
Katsuki: “what the hell was that”
Izuku: “variable acceleration fighters work at the same pace you switch it up throws your opponent off his game”
Katsuki: “not bad where’d you learn that?”
Izuku: “from a few different people”
Katsuki: “Did they give you those scars?”
Izuku: “some of them”
Katsuki: “and the others?”
Izuku: “long stories”
Katsuki: “you know one day you going to be Straight with me about what happened to you over those years”
Izuku: “absolutely”
The continue sparing Izuku quickly ducks a swing before spinning managing to hit Katsuki in the back of the lag causing him to fall on one knee while Izuku gets up he walks up to his computer putting down the escrima sticks
Izuku: “but not today”
Katsuki: “still not bad moves”
Izuku: “yup and tonight i'm going to use some on him Kenji Chiba runs water and power into the less fortunate parts of the city”
Katsuki: “let me guess he jacks up prices to the point no one can pay”
As he speaks Izuku goes over to his crate grabbing his equipment
Izuku: “shuts them down even in the middle of winter”
He grabs his bow and suit before getting ready to leave
Katsuki: “before you leave take a look at this”
He goes over to the computer pulling up an article about a bank robbery just that morning
Katsuki: “these guys started 3 years ago they move from city to city country to country hitting banks along the way this morning they hit another ended up shooting an off duty hero he’s in a coma right now”
Izuku: “if he’s a hero then other heroes should be all over it”
Katsuki: “not for him he’s not that high on the ranks the most he’ll get is a few cops who are overwhelmed and underfunded”
Izuku: “your point?”
Katsuki: “listen these guys don’t hit one time they hit 2 or 3 banks per city which means there planning their next job”
Izuku: “i think you have the wrong impression about what it is i do”
Katsuki: “you take out villains with a bow and arrow”
Izuku: “i don’t fight street crime that’s just a symptom of what's wrong with the city i'm trying to cure the disease”
Katsuki: “CEO’s and corrupt enterprises i get it….look all i'm saying is maybe you could make a difference…outside the contents of that book”
