Izuku exited the hole, then walked over to Ochako and Iida. "Izuku, are you ok?" asked Ochako. "I'm fine, what about you?" asked Izuku. "Y-yeah, it's just my right leg hurts," said Ochako as the recovery girl showed up and healed Ochako's leg. "Izuku, it's good to see you are doing ok. Nezu wants to see you, so please follow me with the other," said the recovery girl as he nodded and followed her, where he would meet his past.
Now
Izuku nervously made his way through the familiar halls of UA High School, his heart racing with anticipation. As he approached a meeting room, an uneasy feeling crept up. He pushed the door open and was taken aback by the sight before him—his family gathered inside. The warm atmosphere contrasted sharply with his own apprehension.
"Izuku, glad you could join us," Nezu greeted him, a smile spreading across his small, furry face. The room buzzed with quiet conversations, and as Izuku stepped further inside, he saw Aizawa standing off to the side. The normally stoic teacher's expression softened as he walked over, enveloping Izuku in a tight embrace.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't able to help you, Izuku," Aizawa murmured, his voice laced with genuine concern. Izuku squeezed him back, trying to offer comfort.
"It's okay, Uncle. It wasn't your fault," Izuku replied, attempting to mask the turmoil of feelings swirling within him. Once they separated, they took their seats at the round table at the center of the room.
Nezu cleared his throat, shifting the focus back to the purpose of the meeting. "So, Izuku, why did you want to see me?" he inquired, his eyes glinting with seriousness and curiosity.
"We will get to that," Nezu replied, his tone steady. "But first, we must wait for the others to arrive." The anticipation in the room grew as they exchanged silent glances and fidgeted nervously. After a few quiet moments of waiting, a decisive knock echoed from the door.
"Enter," Nezu called out.
The door swung open, and Izuku's breath hitched in his throat as a group of individuals entered the room. His heart sank as he recognized the faces of those who had made his life a living hell, but a stark difference made his blood run cold—they were shackled in chains and wearing quirk-canceling cuffs.
Among them, Izuku's eyes locked onto Inko, his mother. When she spotted him, her eyes filled with tears that threatened to spill over. "I-Izuku, is that you?" she stammered, her voice trembling with emotion.
Izuku felt a surge of conflicted emotions rush through him. Rage bubbled up within, and he retorted coldly, "Oh wow, she remembered my name," devoid of warmth or compassion.
Inko took a tentative step forward, desperation etched on her face as she reached for him. However, a guard swiftly yanked the chains, halting her movement just inches from her son. The tension in the room thickened, and Izuku sat rigidly, the weight of his past colliding with the hope of a different future.
"Izuku, I'm truly sorry for the terrible things we did to you. Please, give us another chance," Izumi pleaded, her voice thick with remorse. Izuku's grip tightened into a fist, a surge of conflict rising within him at her words. "Yes, Izuku, please let me be your mother again," Inko added, her eyes glistening with unshed tears, hope, and desperation layered in her tone.
Across the room, the Hyoudous watched the unfolding scene with simmering rage. Miki, unable to contain her anger any longer, rose from her chair with a fierce determination in her eyes. She strode purposefully towards Inko, and without hesitation, she slapped her with all her might. The sharp crack of Miki's palm against Inko's cheek echoed in the tense atmosphere, leaving a vivid red handprint on Inko's face as she staggered back, shock written all over her features.
