Adelaide's POV:

Moving from Australia to England. How hard could that be? It's very hard, apparently, especially with no notice.

Sam 🥸 is calling...

"Sam, what do you want?" I ask my sister as I answer the phone.

"Well, hello to you too, grumpy. I was just calling to let you know that Kristie and I have gotten engaged!" She exclaims down the phone, excited.

"She said yes then, aye? I told you she would, look, Sam, I'll call you tomorrow or something. My manager has decided to be a dick and enter me into a contract to fake date someone." I tell my older sister, sighing down the phone.

"Who? Where do you have to move to? And how famous is she?" Sam asks me, clearly more interested now.

I put Sam on speaker quickly and put my phone on the bedside table so I can continue packing my suitcase before answering.

"I don't know who, I wasn't paying attention when Tracey told me who it was. But I know she lives in England, so I'll be able to see you more often now! And she's a footballer, I think." I answer whilst continuing to pack my suitcase.

"She better not be an Arsenal player! I'll ask around the Chelsea team and see if anyone knows anything. And I'm glad I'm going to see you more, I miss you, Ade."

"I miss you too, Sam. And I don't know what team she plays for. Honestly, I will probably not be there half the time. I'll probably be spending time with you most of the time or be working on my music." I tell her honestly.

"I'll leave you to packing and everything. Is she coming to get you from the airport, or do you need me to pick you up?"

"I'll let you know. She's probably going to come and get me, but I'll let you know, I'll talk to you later. Bye Sam, I love you!"

"Love you too, sis!"

I hang up the phone and get back to packing my essentials, which consist of clothes, my notebook with all of my song ideas in, my guitar that Sam got me (in blue of course, for Chelsea), and any other essentials.

☆☆☆

Being a celebrity has some perks, some of them being the fact that I can get a private plane all the way to England. Although it's still a rather long flight, regardless.

Luckily, I have friends in England that I can spend time with so that I don't have to be seen with whoever I'm supposed to be dating 24/7. Although Tracey will probably kill me if I'm not seen with her.

"Tracey, how much are they paying us for this fake relationship?"

"They're not. We're paying them..." She answers me before looking away.

"We're what? Why the fuck would we be paying them when it's for my publicity! She's a fucking footballer, she has a lot more publicity than me, right?!" I shout at Tracey, getting pissed off.

"You realise your sister only has 1.8 million followers on Instagram? You have 21 million followers! The girl has 1 million followers, which is a lot less than yours! Stop being a brat. You're the one with such high demands for this, besides, they're only getting paid until she's back playing again!" Tracey shouts back before scoffing and walking away.

Back playing again? Who the fuck is this girl? Why isn't she playing football if that's her career?

And who the fuck does she think she is taking my money for this!

I haven't even met this girl yet, and I already don't like her.

☆☆☆

Turns out that Sam was the one who came to pick me up from the airport, something about the girl I'm supposed to be dating having a busy schedule.

Honestly, I don't care, I don't want anything to do with her if I'm being honest.

Tracey told me that she has already found somewhere to live, so she's going there, but that I have a meeting with her tomorrow at 11 am in order to meet the girl I'm supposed to be dating.

And I'm expected to live in England mainly for two years until we break up.

Brilliant.

I told Sam everything that I was told about the contract I have and what is happening, and she agrees that I shouldn't be paying her.

Guess we have to wait and see what tomorrow holds...
