"AMEN" Harlem grandmother Lela, and her mother Rita yells as well as a few other in the church as the pastor preaches about how children take things for granted and how people are greedy
"I'm lost on why I had to come. how I don't live with Mama and still get dragged to church?"Harlem's older sister, Brooklyn says shaking her head.
Their grandmother reaches back and pops Brooklyn in the chest making Harlem, Haze, and Blazon snicker under their breath.
"Now I'm finna leave cause I'm too grown"Brooklyn mumbles under her breath
"Kids these days don't know how good their parents are and what they have until they're parents and grandparents are gone. Until they're here all alone and have to deal with everyday things on their own. Until they don't have anybody protecting them from the scary things life comes with" Pastor Green says eyeing his own son Taylin who was too busy on his phone to even realize
"You all hear that? hmm?" their grandmother says eyeing them and their mother as the others in the church eye their kids and say 'amen'
"Now look I've already kept yall here for an extra hour than usual and I know some of yall are planning to do a Sunday dinner so can we all bow our heads and say a prayer and thank god we made it to see yet another Sunday and hopefully many more in JESUS NAME!"Pastor says catching a few of them off guard due to the random yell
"thank you Jesus"Haze says getting up and gathering his things as everyone bows their head for payer
"Hazel Romeo Wright sitcho ass down right now and bow that big ass head of yours"their grandmother whispers snatching Haze by his shirt and making him sit down. Haze looks at her crazy quickly catching himself before he would even say or do anything he'll regret
Blazon makes eye contact with Brooklyn and Harlem as they try their hardest to not laugh.
