Recap: Ty left Kaila bc she said I love you and this was while they were on a trip. Kaila met Dre at the club and the going on a date and she met Kira

I woke up with a banging headache and looked down at my phone seeing I had a message
Dre: I hope you feelin aight this morning I left some pain killers and water by your bed and be ready at 8 for our date.😉
I smiled texting him back ok and locked my phone.
I don't see this being anything more than friendship since me and Ty just broke up and I still have feelings for him but Dre seems like good company so why not.
I took the pain killers and got up and did my morning routine before leaving to go to my shop
I walked in and greeted everyone and my receptionist told me someone was here for a job interview and that they were waiting outside my office
I made my way towards the back and saw Kira the girl from the club

"Hey girl what you doing here" she asked hugging me
"This is my store" I said and she looked shocked
"Oh fr? Girl this place is really nice so I hope you hire me" she said laughing
"Come in so I can interview you" I said and held my office door open for her
I aint writing out the whole interview process its not important 😭
"After looking over your resume and past experiences I'm going to hire you on the spot and you can start tomorrow " I told her
"Omg girl thank you so much I really needed this job" she said and hugged me and I hugged her back
"We should go out and celebrate" she said and I nodded
"I have a date tonight but we can definitely go out tomorrow or something" I said and she nodded
"Alright girly I'm going to head out so I can be ready for work in the morning" We said our goodbyes and I headed out to go grab lunch
Once I got my food I made my way home
I really need to find someone to chill with cause all I do is go home
I texted Kira my address and told her to come over
She seems genuine and I love the vibe she gives so why not try to be friends
I went in my room and put on some shorts and a top and sat on the couch watching The Chi
I heard my doorbell ring and got up to answer it and let Kira in
I greeted her and then let her sit on the couch while I got some snacks and then joined her
"So how long have you been living in New York?" I asked her
