After a good sleep, Emi finally agreed to open her eyes.

The door to the outside was half open and she could see it was soon to be dusk.

The girls were playing some human game called cards.

[Where the hell did they get cards from?..]

Roobeck was sleeping in his bed.

There were no signs of Thomas.

Emi sat down sluggishly

"Oh, good morn-... Ah hmm... evening Roza!" Salvalon chirped.

"You'll wake Roobeck up..." Mordre noted quietly. "Your turn by the way."

"Like I care about him..." Salvalon rolled her eyes.

"He'll start annoying you again once he's up..." Mordre giggled.

"Damn, you're right..." Salvalon pouted. "Roza wanna join us?"

"I don't mind... but I don't know how-..." Emi smiled faintly.

"T's okay, we'll teach you." Salvalon smiled.

The game Emi was taught was weird, funny and stupid...Well, that's to be expected of a human game... But it was nice to do something other than fighting or thinking about fighting, even if only for a bit.

"Girls, where's 'that'?" Emi asked and pointed at Thomas's empty bed.

"Taking a walk outside..." Mordre responded. "I win." She added with a smirk.

Salvalon dropped her cards dramatically.

"Again?? Mordre there's no way you're not cheating!" She called.

"I telling you, I'm not." Mordre laughed.

Emi giggled. These two were a funny duo to watch, but she was thinking about something else...

"Mm... Girls do you maybe know what is 'the woman' he and that demon were talking about?" She asked.

Mordre shook her head and looked at Salvalon.

"I don't really know..." Salvalon hummed. "But I've heard Compass talking about her few times... Looks like they aren't really on good terms..." She added while staring at the door, as though worried of Thomas entering.

"I see..."

The three continued playing for a while, then-

"How did you guys join the group?" Emi asked.

She weren't the type to initiate a conversation, but it was a good chance to talk quietly without the 'freak' or Salvalon's and Roobeck's arguments.

"I knew Compass even before this group existed." Salvalon muttered. "I just ended up joining it somehow ha-ha..."

"I was in trouble and he saved me..." Mordre shrugged. "But why did I even join..." She giggled.

"It really sounds like he forced us to join..." Salvalon laughed.

[You could say he forced me too...]

"Noisy..." Roobeck huffed angrily into his pillow.

"Roobeck if you are awake, you can answer Roza's question too!" Salvalon remarked.

"Didn't hear it. I was asleep." He muttered, annoyed.

"C'mon we know you did!" She called.

Roobeck sat down and yawned.

"I was bored..." He said.

"You call it a reason?... Ah Roobeck is such a boring person..." Salvalon said.
