The exit seems so close yet so far

I just want to leave

         Pomni just wanted out, she had been stuck in this wrecked place. She hated it so much, why couldn't she leave? She didn't know. She decided to finally get out of her room since forever, she had been hiding in there and when she was out it was when the others were "asleep" or as close as you can get to sleep. She missed her friends and family... if she even had any, she couldn't remember if she did or didn't. She got up out of her bed and tried to shake her head off the current topic, she tended to overthink things sometimes.

She got up and left the room, peeking out the door and checking to see if someone was there. She had caught a glimpse of someone with orangish red hair and popped back in before they could see her. She had been hiding in her room for the past week or so but nobody really knows because it's hard to tell how much time has passed. She quickly locked the door and hopped back on her bed, sighing. "knock knock knock" It seemed that they did see her and was now knocking on her door, she usually ignored them and they would leave so she kept quiet.

Keeping quiet didn't seem to help all that much nowadays because they would keep knocking even more for a little while until finally giving up and going to do something else. She realized if it was Jax that he had the key but wait... she was still new here so he shouldn't have a key yet. She felt a little more safe realizing that. But that was a theory, A GAME THEORY!

She hid under her bed, worrying that it was Jax even though she wasn't sure he had a key to her room yet. She heard the door creak open, she knew it was Jax because she locked her door and he was the only one with keys, she held her breath and watched the floor as she saw his shoes enter and then leave.

"nope, she's not in here. can we just go get some food already, I'm starving!"

She heard Jax talking to someone else, it might have been Ragatha. She kept quiet as she heard the door close and the footsteps slowly vanished in the distance. She got back from under her bed and fell on the floor, she hadn't really been eating that much food lately because she could only get food at night when most of the people were in their rooms having alone time. She realized that this digital world must have something similar to health because she noticed how sometimes if you didn't eat enough then your "avatar" changed a little bit by bit, in almost every way. Every time she stopped in front of the mirror she found she noticed she was a bit paler and her eyes turned smaller a bit and her body had gotten a little bit more skinnier but only noticeable to her.

She got back up and laid down back on her bed, waiting for the sign that most of the people were in their rooms. Overtime she heard footsteps come by and slightly heard the doors creak open as they went into their rooms. She got up and creaked her door open, looking around and noticing that all the doors were shut. She slowly went out and ran into the main area, picking up some Apples, Caine had said they were from someone named "Mrs.Appleton" or whoever that was. She grabbed the apples and ran outside and hid in the long luscious green grass.

She ate the apples slowly, biting one of them she thought to herself, "will I ever leave? no matter how hard I try I just can't FIND THE EXIT!" she was getting annoyed and annoyed. She angrily threw her apple at the tent, which she realized would probably wake everyone up. She hurriedly ran back into the tent, worrying that they would catch her, she ran and hid behind a block. her heartbeat was increasing by the second, she was getting very scared and worried about them and the exit. It would be very awkward and embarrassing for her to see them because she had been avoiding them, it was a surprise she hadn't abstracted yet.
