"I need you to make Tom Riddle fall in love with you"

~~~Third Person POV~~~
All of this would've never happened if it wasn't for Voldemort...
Alexandra prefers to be called Lexi, though she never voiced this except to her best friend, Melody. Lexi calls Melody, Nini because of her middle name, Noelia. Melody calls Lexi, Nori because of her middle name after Lexi's mother, Ella.
At a young age, Lexi became very depressed and got anxiety after two devastating events took place. After another disastrous event happened in fourth year, she learned to not trust anybody else, except her best friend, Melody, who she's known since she was a little kid. She had to go through so much pain after that. Melody tried the best she could to help, but it wasn't enough.
When she was old enough to get a job, she got two. Melody got one with her. Her and Melody are always top of their classes, Lexi plays Quidditch, and she managed to still be in fight lessons. She did it all by herself. No help needed.
Or would she need help in the future...
She's always hated the Malfoys. They always picked on her or bullied her when she was near, minding her own business, trying not to get in trouble.
When they were done criticizing her, Narcissa always stayed behind to apologize. Narcissa is her aunt. Sometimes she calls her Auntie Cissy, but only when other people or people who know the Malfoys aren't around. If there are, she calls her Mrs. Malfoy.
Lexi calls the one who is a few months older than her, Malfoy. Not Draco, Malfoy. Or Ferret. He calls her Miller or halfbreed/blood. Whenever she saw him picking on some first or second-year, she always called him out and hexed him. She would always get detention, but he never did, nooooo. He is the 'Perfect Slytherin', after all.
Everyone had always assumed she was a Muggle-born. She gets why. She always acted, looked, and dressed like one purposely. She still remembers what her mother told her many years ago,
"Remember, if anything happens to me, don't tell anyone about your abilities, your intelligence, your talents, or who your mother is. Okay? Not until you are successful and with someone who makes you happy. Okay?... I love you."
Those words stuck with her all this time. When she first got here at Hogwarts with Melody, nobody liked them. Nobody talked to them. Sure, the teachers would talk to them and be polite like they were supposed to, but nobody wanted to be in their presence. Nobody wanted to be their friend.
