If someone told me back when I was 14, a foreigner from South East Asia, a trainee in YG Entertainment will be this successful, I would have laugh at their faces. No one expect Blackpink will be this successful especially the top executives. Even my parents felt the uncertainties, they want me to study, after looking for schools abroad I was supposed to go to Australia but then YGE happened so ultimately and obviously I chose the latter. Did my parents feels disappointed? I have no idea, maybe but I know they are proud of me in whatever that I do or decided to do. They trust me that much.
Success somehow comes hand in hand with hate. All of us gets it, for some reason some people hate it when others achieve something. I don't get it; can't we be happy for them? They think everything we got were handed to us on a silver platter because we are the rich kids, they did not know the struggles we all endured, the doubts, anxieties. Time when all of us are suffering through emotional, physical and mental breakdowns, they did not know all of that. We all worked hard to where we are now but there are times I just want to rest and spend some time privately doing the things I enjoy. I feel suffocated. Restricted.

Rules. There are always rules to follow and I always comply without questions or complaints. I am done. It is only a matter of time; I will free myself from the shackles that for a long time have been holding me back.
