Melting My Cold Heart

Chapter 3

I looked around for the room Class 2-A. After a few minutes, I found it. As soon as I entered the room, it was quite noisy and students were fooling around. A few seconds later, they stopped to look at me then continued with what they were doing earlier.

I scanned the room to look for an empty seat but while searching for it I found the girl who is shorter than me with her friend, and the guy who was on the rooftop earlier.

I sighed. This isn't going to be an easy school year.  I finally found an empty seat but there's only one problem. Yeahh... I bet you know what it is.

The guy whom I fought earlier is apparently the person who sits beside the empty seat. Oh Goddd, whyyyy??? Of all person, why him?? I let out a deep breath. I walked towards the empty seat. I notice him smirked and I just ignored it.

Soon after, the homeroom teacher came in and greeted us. We greeted him back. Then he lectures about stuff.  

A few hours later, it was already lunch. I head out to the school canteen to eat. I chose the food that seems delicious and sat on the table alone. I was perfectly enjoying the food when 2 girls joined in and sat with me. I stopped eating and stared at them. Then the short girl began to speak.

" You still haven't told us you name?", she smiled.

I Ignored her and continued eating.

" Oh, come on!!! Don't tell me you're gonna be like that for 3 years", she pouted.

The other girl smiled sweetly and said " I'm Yoona. It's nice to meet you."

The short girl sighed and smiled. " I'm Taeyeon. Nice to meet you.  Soo we told you our names and now's your turn. " >:)

I sighed deeply and said. " Stephanie Park."

Janice grinned. She put her arms on my shoulder and said " Let's be friends okay. We'll call you Fany. We're gonna make some memories!" ^_^

 I smiled a little. It's been a while since I've had friends. Come to think of it, I never talked to anyone except dad and oppa.

Suddenly, a guy sneaked behind me and snaked his hands around my waist. I yelped. I slapped his cheek as soon as I turned around to see the same guy from the rooftop. 

" You pervert!" I shouted at him as I blushed.

" Playing hard to get, aren't we?" He touches his cheek as he smirked.

Taeyeon hits his arm and said " Seriously Andrew... You're always flirting a new girl." 

Andrew? I feel like I've heard that already. 

"Fany, you all right?" Yoona asked.

" Yeahh.. I'm fine."

" His name is Andrew Choi. He's our childhood friend since we were 8 years old. He really grew up badly to become this school's playboy. Still, girls love him... well except us." Taeyeon said.

" Anyway, wanna be my girlfriend?" He said as he touches my face with his hands. I shoved his hands.

" Sorry, but I already have a boyfriend who lives in America. So please just get away from me."

 "WHATTTTT??? YOU ALREADY HAVE A BOYFRIEND???" Yoona and Taeyeon asked.

"Fine then. I'll just steal you away from your boyfriend" He said as he smirked again.

Andrew's POV

Hmm... so there are actually girls other than Yoona and Taeyeon to be able to resist my looks? Bring it on.. I love challenges.

 But then there's something about her that seems familiar. Oh well.

Suddenly, I felt someone or should I say everybody staring or glaring at me. I heard whispers like   " How could she talk so easily to the 3 ACADEMY ROYALTIES??" "I heard she's a new student" "It seems like she's a target for Andrew" "Wahhh!! I'm completely jealous of her" 

Academy Royalties? What the heck is that? I turned at them and asked " What the heck is Academy Royalties? "

Taeyeon just sighed and said "I knew you were going to find out anyway. Well, our family contributed a lot to this school, stuff like donating. We are also well known for our looks and brains. Our power in this school is equivalent to the principal here which means everyone including the teachers respect us"

" That's all?" I asked them with a bored look.

They nodded. Then Andrew asked " Aren't you gonna be surprised or at least be honored to talking to us?"

" Why would I? Is it really that great?" 

Finally, the bell rang and it's time for classes again. 

 I walked back to my English class. The teacher announced that we will have a play about   Romeo and Juliet. Gosh, I always hate plays that's because I'm bad at acting. I just hope I'll be  just a character with less lines.

"This play will be for the whole batch so all of you need to get along. The play will be discussed and organized by the batch officers so there will be a meeting for everyone after classes.Please do cooperate and attend the meeting. That's all. Well, I'll leave you all be for now. Goodbye."

With that, the teacher dashed off and my classmates keeps on talking about the play. All the girls seem to want the Juliet role. Am I the one only that doesn't want it?

I saw Taeyeon and Yoona walked towards me.  

" Fany, which role do you want? Do you also want the Juliet role?" They both asked me.

" Hmm. No thanks."

" Ehh why? Did you know that when you get the Juliet role, you're gonna be popular?"

" I really don't care."

" You're really one of a kind." They both laughed.

After classes, I head straight to the auditorium. I was suprised why there were only few people. Taeyeon and Yoona spotted me immedietly.

"Are these people our batchmates only?" I asked them

"Yep. Only a few people passed and got accepted in this academy this year." Yoona answered.

"That explains why."

Then the batch leader began to talk.

" We will begin the meeting already.We'll draw slots to decide the parts.Here are the girl's parts and here are the boys' parts.Everyone please line up to choose one."

Everyone rushed to get the part they wanted except me and Andrew.

Andrew decided to go up as soon as there are no people already.

" Not going up?" he asked.

"Nope. Hate acting."

" There's still one part here. Did everone choose a part?"

The batch leader noticed me and forced me to grab.

Mine read my Juliet. Uh. I hate my luck.

" Okay now who has the slip that read Romeo and Juliet?"

I raised my hand and also the guy who seems familiar too.

" So Stephanie and Donghae."
